#fallout bugs

So I'm playing fallout new vegas as y'all know from my frequent rambles. For those who haven't played I'm putting spoilers below 🫣 Not big spoilers more just a ramble cuz I'm frustrated.

So, I'm working with the NCR for my first play through. And like a long long time ago I already did the Oh My Papa quest. Like ages ago!! And so Moore asked me to go and check on the Khans. And I could not get them to side with the NCR for anything (I had them pledge to do a suicide fight or whatever they called it). And I kept trying with Papa Khan and Regis and I even went through the Papa quest again (Karl already has died lol). And then I did Melissa's quest. And there was zero option for me to get dialogue. An so I stealth killed Papa. I had heard Regis becomes th leader and I thought that would open up dialogue with him. NOPE. 🫥Just goodbye. So I'm at a standstill.......... SO I just said fuck it and stealth killed them all.

Also a while ago I helped the omertas without realizing/remembering what they planned on doing. And my only option was to lie to Moore about it (￣ー￣)

Any way, I'm a bit annoyed. I tried for over an hour to get the khans to join. But I had to kill them anyway.

Fallout: New Vegas: Companions rising from the dead

Were you previously aware that during the development of New Vegas, the developers dealt with a bug that involved companions rising from the dead?

If a companion was killed in Hardcore Mode, then Hardcore was disabled, they would resurrect, even if they were missing limbs.

My main save in Fallout 4 (Elizabeth) is kinda bugged to hell and it makes me sad cuz I have around 700 hours put into it. A short while after getting Piper as a companion, she gets stuck under a door after loading and she just stopped walking around and when I ask her to "Go here" she says she can't do it. I tried pushing her off a cliff cuz I was so mad but she ended up floating (I ended up dying, btw). All she can do is stay in one spot and shoot. I figured she was a lost cause and kept playing through the story. But it always makes me sad cuz she was the first companion I romanced. 😭 I finished the main story and got my friendship up with Cait to the point that she asked me to take her to Vault 95 to help cure her addiction. That mission never popped up on my PipBoy so I'm thinking of getting my affinity down with her in order to see if I can get the mission again. I play Fallout on the PS4 btw, so I can't do much. These were common bugs but were never patched even with all the updates the game received.
