[Good Ol' Nick]
Try to draw these two, by draw them in traditionally. Been a long time I rarely to draw on paper
A little thing I put together
Some headcanons about Nick Valentine:
- after they’ve solved the case around Shaun, Sole asks him about his payment, but he denies to take money from them and decides to stay with them as partners
- He helps Sole through their traumas - losing their spouse, killing their son (if they decide to destroy the Institute)
- He’s the first and only one to see Sole cry
- He tried to get rid of the ‚real‘ Nick at least once to see what part of his personality belonged to himself - that’s why he visited the Memory Den and he was totally aware that he could lose his entire memory during the process, but he was ready to accept it. He rather wanted to be an independent person than knowing he was just a copy of someone who existed long ago
- He still has feelings for Jenny and sometimes they hit him by surprise, although he knows he has actually never met her
- Sole fears losing Nick after having destroyed the Institute because all the information about synths is lost now, but they do everything they can to collect information on his mechanics and how to maintain his functions - looking for books in the Boston library, working with Sturges and Tinker Tom, working through the data they extracted from the Institute’s server
- Nick watches over Sole when they sleep
- He has twisted feelings about Dima - he’s thankful that he helped him escape, and is happy to have found another prototype, but can’t stand his power play, trying to control all fractions on the Island and then trying to get rid of the memories of what he has done to feel morally superior
- Nick is a pretty good dancer
- He can be an old school gentleman, although he tries to hide it behind sarcasm
- Nick is able to feel and receive love but denies it for the longest time because he’s convinced that this ability belongs to original Nick, but when he falls for someone, he does a pretty bad job hiding it
- Although he acts confident, he’s self-conscious because he views himself as ‚just a machine that is convinced to be human‘
- When Sole gets shot, he’s the one who watches them, he keeps an eye on their recovery day and night
- Nick is the one who helps Sole bury their spouse
- He’s self-conscious about his body because it’s a constant reminder to him that he’s a just machine in the end. When Sole tells him to get rid of his wet clothes after diving through a flooded subway station, he’s hesitant to say the least
- When Zwicky and Edna get married he can’t feel happy about it at first because he realises that is something he has wished for himself but denied it for the longest time
just a machine
