Fall is here! I have leaves to jump around and play in. Fall in the South still means 80 degree weather with high humidity. No sweaters for me. Simplicity

There is something lovely about a late fall afternoon. The sun is shining and it's in the low 70s,  which means it is warm enough to still wear short sleeves, and cool enough to detect a crispness in the air that holds promises of the winter to come. Just the simpleness of a perfect relaxing fall afternoon is enough right now. I don't care about all the other stuff I am supposed to be doing; like finding a job, applying to nursing schools, enrolling for spring semester, or the test I have next week. It's nice to take a moment and just simply be. No thoughts, no stress. Just you and a perfect fall day. I am a firm believer in "Stopping to smell the flowers" because we live in such a fast paced, demanding world that we often don't see the beauty right in front of us, and that's a shame. So I live my life at my own pace, and on my own time. Try it sometime...you might like it.
