Really curious about the seemingly out-of-nowhere anti-Lisa Stillman sentiments cropping up in various pockets of the Heartland fandom all of a sudden. Someone must really not like her.
Apologies if this sounds out of line, but your account might benefit from some moderation to cut down on the inanity and troll posts. There's no way to filter out the troll anons, and they can be tiresome and unfunny compared to the wonderful story lines you've developed with various characters/OCs or the great advice Voldy dispenses. Anyway, this is just one fan's opinion so feel free to disregard
[[OOC: Not rude! You just want to see something differently in this blog, and you're making a suggestion.
To be honest tho, if you want the focus to be more on "in-depth" content, it would be a trade-off. My queue has 12 posts a day. If I were to publish less of the "quickie" inane asks and focus on actual questions, I would be spending more time on each question and would likely have to cut the queue to 6 posts a day. Currently, when I notice the queue is getting low and I'm at work or whatever, I can whip out like 5 or 6 asks in my lunch break or during 10 minutes of downtime, and ensure the blog is kept active. Are these answers top-shelf quality writing? Nah. But are they fun? To some people, yes!
I find a lot of them fun, too. And that gets into my other reason I would call it a trade-off: while I do currently delete concerning / vulgar or even some *i dont get it/dont find it answerable* questions, deleting the more inane non questiony-questions excludes people for whom writing isn't their thing from participating. I know what it feels like to send an ask to a "popular" blog and never see it answered, so I do try to answer a good chunk of the things I get. That said, if I get the same type of ask from what is clearly the same person multiple times in a row, I space them out a bit in the queue and may even delete some.
What I *can* do very easily is tag all of the nonsense asks as "shitposts" from here on out so people who do not want them on their dash can filter them out. That is actually a very good suggestion, and would likely help a lot of people out - both those that are here only for the shitposts and those who are here only for the deeper stuff.
If anyone else has a tagging need that I have not been meeting, feel free to let me know!]]
