He has this phone up to his hear, biting his lip.
“Please pick up. Please pick up....”
His eyes lighting up when the phone stopped ringing, Satoshi sighed with relief.
“P-Patches?!”

She pulls on Mr. Tornado’s hoodie. Don’t worry, her mommy is coming up the sidewalk.

“Oh, my! Your robes look amazingly intricate, and its hues are especially vibrant!’
“I’ve not seen its like before, neither in Nohr nor Hoshido ... am I right in assuming you belong to one of the neutral nations? Perhaps Izumo? Hmm, that does seem likely. A nation well known for its lavish parties would have the lavish colors to match, yes?”
Forrest was speculating aloud, but he was so excited he hadn’t yet realized he had been rambling on for some time now. He was grinning, completely enamored with the idea of learning about a new fashion.
@apollyjustice
Jinxie didn’t know many of the people around, but couldn’t say no to treating Apollo. He’d done so much for her and her father and she was happy to participate in anything to honor such a great individual. She picked her way over to him and presented a bouquet of nine-tails flowers. Charms dangled from a few of the stems.
“I attached charms for good luck, good fortune, and good health. Happy... Maybe-Birthday?” She said, borrowing the words the host had used.
Vera managed to work up enough courage to peel away from the wall and greet Apollo. “... It’s good to see you again, Mr. Justice!” She smiled and presented a small box with an impeccably wrapped bow. Inside was a keychain with a nickel-sized painting of a sun for the charm. The painting was protected by a thick bubble of varnish and held by a metal band that was attached to the rest of the keychain.
“... I’ve never made a keychain charm before... but I’m certain I sealed everything well. ... I hope you like it.”
Klavier sauntered over, wrapping an arm around his boyfriend. “I hope you’ve been enjoying yourself so far, Herr Forehead.” He handed over a small box in which was a gold-chain necklace with a red heart that would hang down when it was worn. “That’s gift one; I’m saving gift two for later.” Said with a cheeky grin and a quick smooch.
“You’re amazing, Apollo, breathtakingly amazing.”
@fan-tasticfour liked this for a starter!
He doesn’t know what to do with his ‘prizes’. Maybe someone else might want them? Hopefully? Probably a good idea to ask around.
“Er, do you know anyone who might want this?” Was there anyone who wanted an empty DVD case?

@fan-tasticfour
There was an unfamiliar chill in his back when he first felt a pair of hands sneaking under his hood, and the surprised sound that came out of his lips when they started digging between his shoulder blades might as well have been a chirp. He nearly slammed the pen against his teeth when he covered his mouth in embarrassment.
But the contact quickly registered as a positive one and Eoleo’s shoulders carefully relaxed into enjoying the rubbing and kneading.
“Do I really look that tense and sore?” he asked with a chuckle, putting his pen over his history homework. He closed his eyes and leaned forward slightly, to give Simon’s hands more space. “You know I’m not moving after this, right? You’re doomed. We’re both doomed. I’m sleeping over, right in this chair. You’ll have to go and bring a phone so I can call Shisho and let him know.”
Eoleo went tense for a moment and let out a squeak, and Simon almost worried that he had overstepped his bounds. He was certainly not used to giving or receiving such... physical gestures back in Tokyo, but given how affectionate Eoleo could be, he had thought it would not be poorly received.
He had not thought much at all, really. After so much of the evening spent studying--catching up on entire terms of subject matter Simon had never had the occasion to learn--his brain felt practically numbed. And Eoleo’s shoulders had seemed rather stiff...
His friend relaxed, and that was all the confirmation Simon needed. He smiled, and dug his thumbs in again.
“It would be rather convenient for me, honestly,” he said. “I’d have wanted to see you home, if you were leaving this late. And it’s easier to cook for two than for one.” Aura had sent a text a few hours ago, telling him not to wait up. It hadn’t come as much of a surprise--her work at the space center was picking up lately, and she was rarely home. He hadn’t seen her for more than a few minutes here or there in probably a week now.
He supposed it would have been... appropriate to text her and ask if he could have a friend over for the night. He wouldn’t, though. Aura would have given him what-for for wasting her time with something that trivial.

And just like that... A bright light appeared behind her as if on cue.
