Chapter 2 Blurb:
Khae’ya woke up to the sensation of flying. His papa lifted him up into the air, planting a firm kiss on his forehead, “Good morning my little moonlight” two more firm kisses were then placed on both of his cheeks, then a million more all over his face until Khae’ya was giggling and pushing his papa’s face away. His papa, Vikrh’am, was a shadow vampire, meaning that most of his body was made up of the pitch black void that seemed to emanate off of whatever it was hosted to. The only part of him that could properly be seen was his face with sharp vampiric features; the rest of his body, besides being covered in shadows, was elongated though he had no extra joints. If it could be seen, anyone would notice the vibrant blue wavy hair that covered his head and flowed down to the bottom of his back. “Papa!” Khae’ya strained his head until his papa bowed his head down, allowing Khae’ya to kiss him on the forehead, both cheeks, and a million more all over his face. The king laughed at his babe’s antics, then handed him over to the woman waiting patiently beside them. “Thank the stars for another morning with my dearest moonlight,” Khae’s mama placed a single gentle kiss to his cheek, then cuddled up with her babe, arms wrapped tightly around the child. Khae’ya did his best to wrap his arms around his mother as well, letting out a happy giggle when his father joined in on the warm hug.
