I haven't seen or read the Hobbit (tried multiple times when I was little and couldn't get into JRRT's writing style), so I can't say much about it, I'm afraid 😅 I know it's a popular ship, so I'd guess I'd probably be fine with it!

I have a bit of a personal question. I'm absolutely in love with your fics but I'm always cautious about anything involving cryptids, and I've debated bringing it up because of the contentious opinion among cryptid fans. I'd like to ask if you will ever use any Indigenous cultural icons like the wendigo in the future?

While I think it would be super interesting, I don’t think I would. There’s already a lot of misinformation about the Wendigo (and other such as) in media that if I were to write/draw an experience with it, it might come off as disrespectful to it’s origins.

If I ever wanted to to do something like that, I would need to do major research beforehand and hopefully get it right. Also, some people don’t like icons being taken from their culture and used anyway, so respectfully I’d have to keep that in mind. Hopefully this makes sense!
