Vegan baker problems.
My milled flax seed has been expired since, like, October. I've been using it, but I've gotta make vegan donuts for next Saturday and I figure I should probably get some fresh flax. I've kept mine refrigerated and in a dark container, but I suppose that since I have the resources, I should just replace it.
I'm also still at a total loss as far as what flavors I want to make for next weekend. What's your dream donut? (I do cake donuts these days, by the way, not raised ones.)
Things I'm totally down to try making include:
pineapple upside-down donuts, complete with pineapple slices on top
lavender thyme donuts with a lemon glaze
red velvet donuts with a "cream cheese" glaze
green tea donuts with a lemon glaze
Or I could always do my standard lavender Earl Grey with lavender Earl Grey glaze.
Any other ideas?
