Hello writers, friends, fanfic enjoyers, and all folk alike! With all of the excitement over acotar 6, I wanted to create a little challenge/activity to bring everyone together.
Have you seen those packages on etsy? The blind date books they now sell at target? Hand wrapped library selections? They’re everywhere! But we don’t have a fanfic equivalent… until now!
The idea is simple. Take one of your fics (or write a new one) and create a blind date for it. Include as much or as little info as you want about the fic to encourage readers to ‘check it out’ (get it, like checking out a book? Heh). Make sure you include the necessary links to ao3 etc., and tag the fics appropriately as needed.
Here’s mine as an example
Open to any and all canon ships, crack ships, x readers, oc fics, fics with no ships, and everything else i cant think of!
Ive created this template for those of you who need some inspo/help mapping out a post. Feel free to use it as is or decorate it! The boxes are transparent, so you can add your own moodboard pictures behind the template in apps like adobe fresco, procreate, pic collage or others.
Or if you can, create your own graphics to show off the theme of your fic!
This was designed for our lovely little acotar community, but is open to all sjm fics, or even other fandoms too if you want! I just think it’ll be fun to see each others fics in a new light.

Hey, it's going to be my birthday next month~! And you know the thing I love most in the whole world is encouraging people to make art, so I thought we'd have a little celebration!
Here's how it'll work:
Make an art piece of ANY KIND (writing, drawing, fiber art, photography, dance, music, video, gifs, mods, WHATEVER!) that challenges you or pushes your limits in some way! Write in second person future tense! Try a completely different style than you usually draw in! Use a different medium! Try a WHOLE NEW craft! You'll never be good until you're bad, and you'll never be bad until you START!
Anyone can participate, and you can make ANYTHING you want! Idc if it's DA as long as it's inspiring you! Please just remember to tag your pieces appropriately so that people can avoid content if they want to.
On October 23rd, 2025 (wherever you are in the world) start posting and tagging me! I will show your stuff off on here, and hopefully be able to drop likes and comments for everyone~! I will probably keep reblogging stuff until the end of the month, but I'll keep an eye on my mentions after, too!

Like who’s the dad. Is Jerry the dad because Gangster Squad happens in like the 50s or 40s or do we just bend time. Or is he not included. Well someone had to of beaten Courtland enough to murder him. We already know Ryland and Colt are twins, and Courtland killed their dad to protect him. But where is Lars in this? Is he like. The cousin? Brother? Gus? What about Gus?
Okay what if March is the dad and Jerry is March’s dad. Is Ken still a doll. Is Jared not Jared and instead the guy he’s based off in the big short. What about Officer K??? He’s not even human, really. Is he like. Proclaimed to be in the future? Like after it’s all said and done? Is Bladerunner the world after Ryland is sent to space and Astrophage eat the sun??? Idk I’m lost.
Dan Dunne. What about Dan Dunne. What does he do. Is he like a cousin. An estranged brother. Maybe Ryland got inspiration to get into teaching after he got fired from Dan. What about Jacob Palmer??? His parents??? Is Cal Weaver separate from Mark Baum??? Is Mark Baum nonexistent and just exists as the guy he was based off too??? Is Jacob Palmer a cousin? What about Julian? His brother? Let’s actually not talk about Julian’s brother.
