Art journaling is so criminally underrated. And the best part about it is that you don’t even have to spend that much money or over consume! Loose papers and washi tape are cheap on Etsy. Printing at the library costs 50¢ a page. Water coloring sets can be found at the dollar store. Splatter your pages with endless colors. Print out pictures of your OTP and decorate the spread with confetti hearts. Save your candy wrappers and stick them on the page because why not. Jot down your playlists and add album covers on to the page. Cut out pictures from your dusty magazines and accompany them with quotes from your favorite books and media. Sprinkle in some glitter over it. Seriously. Just do it. You don’t have to be a master at drawing or painting to be an artist. Journaling is art.
