As someone who’s been in fandom for over a decade, here is ONE rule you MUST follow. At ALL cost avoid hierarchy.

Establishing a hierarchy of any type is a a slippery slope that I’ve and so many others have fallen into. Never give anyone within a fandom position of power or authority over you and other people. It is absolute hell on earth within a fandom when it feels like your fandom is controlled by a single person and their cronies.

knowing my blog and my brand you are absolutely correct that I should know how to access/pirate shit, but unfortunately for me I am easily overwhelmed and been too unmotivated to actually look for ways to access episodes for editing purposes etc

to any of my followers that know how to pirate, make edits, etc that have this knowledge, can you please help a fella out? either in the comments or messaging me- I would also love to know how to do this so that when I do have some free time and am motivated I could try to make some content for us

I rewatched the Star Wars movies with my father. We watched them as 4 5 6 1 2 3. And in each movie I had to bite my tongue just so I wouldn't enter full fangirl mode.

Haunting this hellsite with all of you lovely people has filled my brain with so much more Star Wars content than what most people get. I have to remember that "no, Dad would have no way to know that obscure fact from now-Legends book", or "you got that factoid from a fic you like, it's not even in the movies." And I'm sitting, vibrating with the urge to spew "Darth Plagueis was Palpatine's teacher, he murdered him when he was elected Chancellor!!" during the evil monologue TM.

And then my dad asks "how do you know that?" And I have to come up with an explanation that he will actually understand, and just settle on "I know a lot about Star Wars."

There are fanvids, and then there's Hell of A Place. No video has ever managed to capture the essence of the show - including the Mulder and Scully relationship - so perfectly, in my humble opinion. I get goosebumps every time I watch it.
