The Pitt Preferences: How They Ask You Out
The Pitt Masterlist
Includes: Michael 'Dr. Robby' Robinavitch, Jack Abbot, Mel King, Frank Langdon, Heather Collins, Trinity Santos, Dennis Whitaker, Cassie McKay, Samira Mohan, Victoria Javadi, Mateo Diaz, Donnie Donahue
Robby:
Robby makes you wait. He pines after you and flirts on and off with you for months before he makes a move. He has you questioning what he feels about you constantly until finally he is 137% sure you're into him. Then and only then will he finally ask you out in a breathless rush one night.
Jack:
With Jack, it's less him asking you out and more him finally confirming that you are together. You two came together over months, never really giving what you have a name. Then one day Robby asks him to come out to a bar after shift, adding that Jack should bring his partner. Then Jack turns to you and simply says 'You in, sweetheart?'
Mel:
Mel is a little bit of a stuttering mess about it. She's been wanting to ask for awhile and finally feels like now is the right time. When she goes to speak though, she mixes up words and is kind of all over the place. In the process of trying to figure out what she's asking, you kind of end up asking her instead.
Langdon:
This man has to try twice. The first attempt is wildly over confident to the point of cocky and honestly rubs you the wrong way. He comes off as a bit of an ass. Later, after earning back some trust, there's a second much more thoughtful approach that's accompanied by a very genuine explanation of how he feels about you.
Collins:
Heather is on an independent journey that she does not intend to sacrifice. When she asks you out she makes sure that you know exactly what she wants for herself and invites you to be a part it. She's honest, open and kind. Perhaps a tad awkward from nerves.
Santos:
She is direct, but unexpected. Santos will ask out in the middle of an unrelated conversation. Just inserting the question while you're discussing patients. You have to stop and ask her what she just said before she smiles and repeats herself with more confidence than before. Later, you will learn she was a nervous wreck but not until you're relationship has developed more.
Whitaker:
Dennis goes over the top with it. He doesn't just ask, he plans. He gets you flowers and a card. He dresses up and comes over to your place. There's a whole monologue, which he is mostly able to deliver before you interrupt with a 'yes.'
Mckay:
Cassie is calm with her approach. Being a mom, her son comes first before anything or anyone. So when it comes to dating someone new, she has put a lot of thought into who, when and how. She's sure you're the right person and it's clear in the way she asks you out.
Samira:
She is all excitement and joy when she asks. The two of you would be talking outside after a shift. She is riding the high of managing to nail a complicated procedure, when she decides to embrace the confidence and finally ask you out. Her smile is infectious a she speaks.
Javadi:
This girl blurts it out in the middle of a conversation. She is a nervous wreck when it comes to you, even though you have become quite close. She plans for days, trying to figure the right time and the right way to ask. Only to have it spill out in the middle of a conversation.
Mateo:
Mateo is sweet but casual about it. He will catch you while you're hanging out with the others. Pulling you aside while the others are focused on something else. He will start by complimenting you before telling you that he has liked you for a while and would love to take you out sometime.
Donnie:
Donnie has a quiet confidence in pretty much everything he does and that includes the way he asks you out. He knows he likes you and is pretty sure the feeling is mutual, so he keeps it simple. He tells you exactly how he feels and asks if you want to go out after work.
