am i the only one who thinks osana’s stalker and gema are extremely similar? like in interests, voice, and appearance, they’re pretty alike. while it could just be a coincidence i honestly would like to think they’re related, maybe they’re cousins or something. the stalker actually could’ve been who introduced gema to anime and video games

Sylvain was requested as my next FE3H sim, so here he is. Love this angry trauma boy, but also hate him. It’s complicated. He’s complicated. Great character.

I tried very hard to dress Sylvain like every guy who goes through girlfriends like laundry I’ve ever known. Unfortunately, there haven’t been very many. I mainly hang out with goths, softbois, and nerds. Still, an effort was made.

The necklace I gave to every outfit is because he needed something on his neck to balance his low-cut tops, and this was the closest I could find to his FEH summer necklace.

Sylvain is a beautifully complex man, which made narrowing him down to 3 key personality traits a bit of a challenge. Ultimately I decided on Romantic, Jealous, and Genius. Romantic is obvious: He’s an insatiable flirt. Jealous was harder, as he’s not really jealous in the way of the trait. Then again, I find many cheaters also tend to be jealous in their relationships, but that’s not why I chose this trait. I chose it to represent the dark, ugly streaks of anger and jealousy he shows Byleth (and a few other characters) over their different experiences regarding growing up with Crests. Genius felt a little easier. Sylvain doesn’t try to be good at anything, but he succeeds nonetheless. Minimal effort for maximal payoff, and all that. He grasps complex magical theorems that even Annette struggled with, despite her being something of a savant. Him being full of wasted potential comes up in one or two of his more negative support conversations.

For an Aspiration, I was strongly torn between Serial Romantic and Villainous Valentine. While I don’t think either of those are his true life goals, they’re definitely in line with his behaviour. I ultimately went with Serial Romantic, as the bonus trait it gives if you start with it (Alluring) is definitely more fitting than what you get with Villainous Valentine (Dastardly).

As for likes and dislikes, Sylvain’s favourite colours are red and blue, because of his Class colours and Post-Timeskip armour. For hobbies, he likes Acting, Dancing, Mischief, and Mixology for obvious reasons. Less obvious are Video Games and Bowling, which just seemed fitting. He dislikes Research and Debate, to express his distaste for studying and politics.

For all my Three Houses sims, I have decided to use the House Loungewear as their athletic outfit. With a few added personal touches, of course.

For the blue lions, I ran into the problem that the perfect shorts for masculine framed sims in every other house were a bit dark in their blue swatch. Rather than trying to find different shorts that came in the right shades of Black, Mustard, and Red, I accepted this and moved on with my life.

Like with activewear, I decided on a set theme for hot weather outfits. Specifically, the dlc summer uniform. While not copying it perfectly, I tried to stick to beige bottoms, black boots, and white tops, while still trying to represent the characters’ unique styles.

Cold Weather:

Sylvain himself complains about being a northern boy and struggling with the heat, when you go to Ailell in the Azure Moon route. If that’s the case, then the inverse must be true. Sylvain is a living space-heater who has no need of thick winter clothing outside his snowy homeland. If it isn’t -40 (Celsius), it isn’t cold.

(I have family in a City where -40 is a common winter temperature, and I used to spend my winter holidays with them. I can attest to not needing much for cold weather outfits, I have worn tank tops through the snow more than once.)

Edit: OH MY GOD I FORGOT TO ADD IN INSPIRATIONS AND AESTHETIC WRITE-UPS RIP

Well the past few weeks have been wild, but I think I can safely say things have calmed down now. Anyways, it’s time for Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd. I’ll be honest, my feelings for Dima fall in line with Felix’s: complicated. He’s an interesting character with a solid backstory and character arc, but he’s... well, not my fave, and I think that shows in how long it’s taken me to finish this post, which is a shame because he deserves love.

Admittedly a big part of the problem was how unhappy I was with how he’d turned out. I had the post all ready, only missing CC links, for weeks, but I just... wasn’t happy. Ultimately it was because I’d tried to merge his Part 1 and Part 2 aesthetics into one with alternate versions just being a different haircut, but of all the characters, he undergoes the most drastic changes. So, I decided to re-do him in his entirety and split him into two sims, resulting in newfound inspiration.

Both versions of Dimitri are in a single household for ease of downloading, but I’ll be sure to clarify which CC and which packs are for which version, in case you only plan to use one of them.

As I mentioned above, Dimitri undergoes the greatest changes throughout the course of the game, so I tried to reflect that in his White Clouds and Azure Moon sims. White Clouds Dimitri is a very serious sweet baby what just needs some hugs. I gave him the traits Proper and Perfectionist to reflect his internal struggle with always appearing the perfect prince, and Erratic for reasons that are quite obvious if you chose Blue Lions and made it through Part 1. He aspires to become Neighborhood Confidante, though Leader of the Pack would also be good. Both are good reflections of his desire to be a good king and live up to his father’s legacy.

For Azure Moon Dimitri I gave him Erratic, Paranoid, and Loner. My reasons will be obvious to anyone who has played through Blue Lions and made it even just two or three chapters into Azure Moon. I gave him the aspiration of Inner Peace, because our boy needs to process his trauma.

I kept his interests, likes, and dislikes the same in both versions. His favourite colours are blue and black, and his hobbies are Fitness, Rock Climbing, and Snowboarding. Because of his reactions regarding the White Heron cup he dislikes dancing, and because of his canonical difficulty with tasks requiring fine motor skills he dislikes Cross-stitch, Knitting, Robotics, and Rocket Science.

I made sure to choose a skin-detail white right eye rather than a makeup or accessory one, so even when he showers or goes in the sauna or what-have-you he’ll still be blind in the one eye. Also, apologies for the fully-grown eyebrow among the scars. I couldn’t find a good scarred/shaven eyebrow ^^;

Petra loves swimming and climbing trees and meeting people in canon. She’s also confident and always trying her best. Because of this I went with the Child of the Ocean, Loves the Outdoors, and Self Assured traits. For an Aspiration I gave her Friend of the World.

She wears bright tones like purple, orange, and green, and her class colours are shades of pink. Because of this, I set those as her liked colours. I also gave her a love of island and world music, because she loves learning about other cultures and I imagine she’d like music from all around the world.

Her liked hobbies and skills are comedy, dancing, fishing, fitness, handiness, research/debate, and rock climbing. All of these choices were made based on supports and in-game dialogues/quests. (You find a wood-carving manual in her room, for Handiness, as an example.)

The only one-legged tights I could find didn’t come in quite the right colour, so I’ve saved the outfit twice. Once with a black leg, and once with an orange leg. Whichever feels more accurate to you can be the one you keep, or you can leave them both and see what comes up when the time comes :)

So it turns out no amount of inspiration can speed up a difficult sim, but I managed! Felix Hugo Fraldarius gave me much troubles, but I adore him so. Fun fact, my first ever playthrough of Three Houses I chose Blue Lions because I loves Felix so much and was terrified of failing to recruit him if I chose another house. (My second choice was Golden Deer because Claude seemed so fun.)

Anyways, something about the Felix hair makes the game insist any hairs with the EA palette MUST be blue, which made letting him have his hair down for pyjamas an absolute nightmare since all but 3 of my hairs have maxis tones, and one of those I downloaded specifically for Felix after finding a creator who does maxis match cc but without EA palettes.

Then there was the issue of trying to recreate his iconic post-timeskip look. He wears THIGH HIGH boots and I needed that. Sadly I had to give up on it, because I literally could not find a single pair of masc. frame compatible thigh high boots that didn’t make him look like he was going to strip or perform drag, which while fun is decidedly not believable Felix behavior.

Anyways, if you know of any masculine frame compatible thigh high boots without massive platforms/heels that AREN’T skin tight, PLEASE let me know~

Everyday:

Felix might be one of the hardest sims to dress for a modern setting, imo. On the one hand, all his in game clothes are very fancy and formal and proper, as is befitting a future duke, and a part of me wants to reflect that. On the other hand I can totally see him wearing edgy black jeans and a leather jacket. Plus he wears skin tight pants and thigh high boots. So, it’s a struggle.

Based on literally every interaction with Felix, I have determined that he is an active, unflirty loner. Unflirty because while he clearly is capable of romantic feelings, he finds romance itself not particularly his thing and doesn’t respond well to flirting. That being said, if you want an easier time romancing him hot-headed is a great alternative trait for him. Perfectionist is also applicable, though I find it a lot less fitting than the four previously mentioned traits. As for aspiration, I gave him Bodybuilder. Felix wants to be the strongest, after all.

Based on his personal attire and the colouring of all his class outfits, I’ve given him black and blue as his favourite colours. Also, he is clearly a music fan, based on his A rank with Dorothea and his all of his supports with Annette, so I’ve set him to enjoy Alternative, Baroque, and Classical music. Also, as a joke with myself, Strange Tunes, since Annette’s lyrics that he likes so much can only be described as strange.

For hobbies, he definitely has more dislikes than likes. He dislikes baking because of his distaste for sweets and comedy based on various supports. That’s not to say he has no sense of humour, he just doesn’t seem to appreciate standard generic jokes. Based on his displeasure at being chosen for the White Heron Cup, I have also set him to dislike dancing. He dislike choir practise in game, so singing is also out, and he’s too serious to enjoy mischief. As far as likes go, I gave him fitness and handiness.

Like with activewear, I decided on a set theme for hot weather outfits. Specifically, the dlc summer uniform. While not copying it perfectly, I tried to stick to beige bottoms, black boots, and white tops, while still trying to represent the characters’ unique styles.

I can see Felix being extra pissy in the summers because he isn’t used to so much heat and it makes training suck.

I think I actually managed to keep him relatively spoiler free!

As far as traits go, Hubert’s were quite easy to choose, and seem self-explanatory. Proper, Perfectionist, and Paranoid. That they’re alliterative is a fun bonus. I gave him the Public Enemy aspiration, because despite being quite soft in all of his A rank supports, many of his C and B make me think he actually wants people to hate and fear him.

For likes and dislikes, please guess at his favourite colours. Go ahead. I dare you. (Black and red.) As for hobbies, he enjoys Acting, Mischief, Programming, and Research/Debate. His supports with Bernie are my main reason for thinking those first two, and programming is... well it’s a stretch, but if this is a modern interpretation, that just seems like something he would take satisfaction in. The only hobbies I chose for him to actively dislike are singing (because he dislikes choir practice), and Rock Climbing, because heights make him uncomfortable. I considered adding dancing to that list, but I think his dialogue regarding the White Heron Cup speaks for itself:

"On a lighter note. I've heard you've yet to choose a class representative for the White Heron Cup. It's not something I'm interested in, but if no one else wants to do it, then I will shoulder the burden.” Yes: "How very whimsical of you. I suppose I'll have to do what I can." No: "Wise. Better to choose someone with more charm."

That’s almost enough for me to turn dance into a liked hobby, but not quite.

Yet another case with no visual inspirations, but it again felt right.  I can just imagine Hubert being dragged along to a beach, swimming, or fishing trip and being super less-than-thrilled. Poor guy strikes me as the type to dislike exposing their body at all, so being coerced into beach appropriate attire is probably something he’d hate.

Okay the Empire is one of the hotter regions of Fodlan I’m pretty sure, so poor Hubie wouldn’t be used to the colder winters of the Monastery (and even colder winters in Faerghus, when missions take him there). So he gets an adorable hat. Sadly, the hat clipped with his other hair so I had to substitute a similar style. Accidental model shot is accidental. Sort of.

So I asked which Fire Emblem sim to post next and the first suggestion was Alois, so here he is~ (I will post in order of requests until I run out, then in order of creation.)

Alois Rangeld, Knight of Seiros, loving father, sharer of bad puns, and all around great guy. I love him. I wish he were my dad. He’s also my first ADULT adult, not just Young Adult, so here’s hoping he turned out okay.

Alois gives off some serious suburban dad vibes, and so for the modern setting of the sims I’ve decided to dress him as such. It started with socks and sandals, and kept going from there. Honestly, I think I’ve peaked.

For personality, I decided to give him Good, Goofball, and Loves the Outdoors. Goofball for his constant puns, Good for his general positive and helpful demeanor, along with his remorse over having to kill as part of his job, and Loves the Outdoors because, well....  I mean he just does, okay? I considered giving him family oriented, but since I didn’t make his wife or daughter I figured I’d hold off. That being said, it’s a good alternative to Good or Loves Outdoors. As for aspiration, it is clear to me that he wants to be a Joke Star. (Or Super Parent, if you wanna start a family with him~)

Based on his Monastery outfit and his class colours, I’ve made his favourite colours Brown, Red, and White. For hobbies, Alois enjoys Comedy, Dancing, Fishing, Fitness, and Handiness. He doesn’t dislike anything, because he’s a lovely person. I just love him, okay?
