Mostly Shiro with Lance’s insecurities

Honestly not sure. But I do relate to when Katara was so frustrated with Aang getting water bending immediately and she didn’t. Also how easily frustrated Zuko gets.

A Character You Liked At First, But Don’t Anymore:

Keith was ok to me at first but his fandom makes me wanna dislike him.

AANG! Ugh at first I thought he was ok but now I just see him as an annoying, self-entitled, spoiled brat.

Ehhh no one really comes to mind. I liked Cheetor as a kid but I think it was mostly because I really liked cheetahs back then. However I don’t hate him though.

A Character You Didn’t Like At First But Do Now:

Hmmmm Probably Haggar and Zarkon. I was kinda eh about them but now I think they’re pretty cool and imposing villains.

Maybe Ty Lee? Oh no no Asami! I was sooooo ready to hate her but Asami is fucking GIFT!

Honestly I was eh with Megatron as a kid but now I enjoy how fucking extra and hammy he is, it’s hilarious!

Three OTPs:

Not a huge shipper for VLD, BUT I am leaning towards Shallura, Shay/Hunk, and Zaggar was actually pretty cute in the past.

ZUTARA!  Sokka/Suki. and Korrasami.

The ONLY one I liked was Tigatron/Airazor. They are adorable together. Silverbolt is waaaaaay too cheesy and fairy tale knight for me to like him and Black Arachnia.

More answers about parentlock

I’m not going to reply to these individually, but I will tag cakepopsforeveryone (who asked the question) and add that I find this all very interesting.  Thanks for sharing, all!

My kids are 7 & nearly 5. I enjoy some parent fic, but I get so bent out of shape about child development ("Have you ever actually *met* a 2 year old? Aaargh," I'll wail) that I don't seek them out. If a rec from someone I trust, will cautiously try.

I don't read parentfic because the kids and parenting situations often feel unrealistic to me. After spending six plus years in childcare, there is nothing neat or tidy or fairytale left about parenting. XP

I generally don't read parentlock - with a few exceptions - because so much of it is an idealized version of parenthood that bugs me.

I read some parentlock but I'm a sucker for mpreg, and it may be due to my long-standing infertility. I don't want to read about pregnant women (dear god, they're EVERYWHERE in RL) but mpreg lets me in a little. I've never actually told anyone.

Mama to one, I avoid parent!fic and pregnancy!fic for the most part. I don't consume all that many fictional accounts of parenting/pregnancy, and a lot of the time in fiction it is done in a way that makes me nope out (idealised/unrealiistic/fetishy)

If anything, having produced a child of my own, I feel even MORE strongly averse to reading about them quite frankly. Real life is plenty deal with imho :p

I'm actually childfree by choice, but for some reason, I absolutely adore all the parentlock stories I've come across, from N&N to Eugenia Watson to Ava Watson....

Round 2: I have no idea why, because I am personally not a big fan of kids. But I don't think these stories are unrealistic parenting. Many of them show John and/or Sherlock dealing with the trials of being a parent and THAT'S what makes it for me.
