what can you tell me about raquel?

RAQUEL “RAQUI” HERNANDEZ 

She is the daughter of the Operations Director of Homeland Security, Rafael Hernandez.

Her father’s career is what garnered her interest in law.

She went to Columbia University to study law. There she met Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson, with whom she developed a close bond.

Witnessed Matt’s intense love affair with Elektra ( and was secretly rooting for them ). 

Initially had a brief crush on Matt but later actually fell for Foggy. 

She and Foggy have had a “will they, won’t they” type relationship since their Columbia days. 

Dropped out of law school at the last minute due to burnout, but later jumped back into the field as a paralegal at Nelson and Murdock alongside her old friends. 

“Avocados at Law” is her favorite catchphrase. 

 She is the first one to realize that Matt is in fact Daredevil and aids him in any way she can.

Her life is put on the line countless times due to her connection to Matt/Daredevil. 

This only gets worse when she get roped in with Frank Castle ( with whom she has an intense fling with that could mirror that of Matt and Elektra ). 

She is a total “momfriend” and would do absolutely anything for the ones she loves. In a way, this is also her fatal flaw.

Neutral good.

I haven’t really decided what her endgame is yet because I am torn between Foggy and Frank. 

With regards to Karen, she has trouble trusting her at first but by the end they are like sisters. 

She is the first person Matt comes to after he “dies.” 

Always gets pleasant visits from Frank when he’s in town.

Fun fact: She was my first ever Marvel related oc. <3
