hello! class is done and I am now requesting to know everything your willing to share on your thoughts abt your oc with rabbit symbolism please? thank you
okay, so i’m still planning a lot about her out because i’ve been in a creative slump lately. her name is sohee kim. she’s a lil bit pygmalion and galatea, a lil bit rpg mad father, a lil bit run rabbit by mollie elizabeth and the disappearing girl by mollie elizabeth and marble arch by erin lecourt.
i don’t know if she’s going to stay fandomless or get adapted into an oc for a show/movie. she’s a revamp of an old(-ish) oc, seri han, who’s overall idea i think would make for a fun powered/mutant au.
i’ve got three ideas for her father’s experiments:
1. her father experimented on her to slow and then stop her aging.
2. the above + she’s a ‘successful’ clone created from her mother’s stolen dna. her father experimented first on the other clones before using the perfected serum on her. (in the solely-above version, he experimented first on kidnapped homeless women).
3. she was a regular girl, then her father turned her into a cyborg ‘doll’ to keep her ‘young and beautiful’. (think bjds or battle angel alita's movie doll body when not being 'concealed').
either way, sohee doesn’t know about these experiments.
now for the stuff i have figured out about sohee:
her paternal family runs a major conglomerate, but her father is the ‘black sheep’ of the family. he’s the third of four children. his parents didn’t want to give him a major role in their companies, so he has a role more in title only. when sohee was old enough, she started part-time modelling for their cosmetic+fashion division but she doesn't have a real passion for it.
she’s never met her mother. her father lied and told sohee that her mother didn’t want her and she had no reason not to believe him. in reality, her father tried to kill her mother, but was unsuccessful (which he doesn't know and thinks she's dead). her mother has been trying to reach her and also expose her father, but hasn't had any luck yet.
her father was very strict with her growing up. she wasn’t allowed to do certain things and her diet was extremely regulated. as a result, she grew up fairly sheltered, but she's not naive, she's smarter than people give her credit for. her father also insisted on humility; he is obsessed with her beauty, but he doesn't want her to be vain. she is a bit of a snob though when not preforming for and around her father.
she wanted to do ballet when she was younger but her father said ‘ballerinas have ugly feet’ and wouldn’t allow it. she eventually wore him down into letting her do figure skating.
her father doesn’t care much if she’s smart, he only cares about her physical looks and showing her off. he practically never acknowledges her achievements unless someone else brings them up first, and even then he’s dismissive.
she’s very good at chess. she also enjoys logic puzzle games like minesweeper and nonograms and tetris, and rhythm games. she plays mainly phone games, but i think she’d also get a lot of use out of a handheld system like a switch or a steamdeck. she'd probably make a good streamer, using GALAT3A as her username.
her favourite sanrio character is marroncream, quickly followed by my melody and bonbonribbon. she loves pink and red.
she doesn't have any real friends. she was quite popular in school, but her 'friends' were more interested in her for the prestige than actually interested in who she was as a person, and the boys were only attracted to her looks. the closest person she has to a friend is her only female cousin, but she doesn't get along as well with her male cousins.
I don’t know if you rb’d it caus it was funny or for prompts, but i would be interested in seeing what you do with Instead of fake dating, everyone is convinced that you aren’t actually dating + dealers choice if you want!
A/N: My first thought was to do this Reverse Trope Writing Prompt for Cisco and Averey, but I felt like everyone thought it made sense that they were dating. So, I decided to go with The Artful Dodger. This was a plot point I had thinking for season 2, should it ever be made – or if I have to make it up myself. So, we’ll see how this idea goes!

“You and Rainsford?”
Both Fanny and Belle asked the same question in response to Molly’s subtle announcement: Fanny with a high squeak of excitement that cut over Belle’s flat, disbelieving tone, which was just heard over the snap of the carrot she was snacking on.
Molly laughed quietly to herself.
Sometimes it was funny just how different the Fox sisters were. One who accepted her role in Port Victory’s society wholeheartedly, and the other whose wanted out since before she’s left the shores of London. One who loved love and one who didn’t understand it. At least for a while, she didn’t.
“No,” Belle said, emphasizing her word with another loud crunch-bite of a carrot. “No. I scarce believe what I am hearing. No. No!”
“Well, I suppose if it couldn’t be me,” Fanny commented, (ignoring Belle’s “Or me, thankfully”) clasping her fingers together, a broad grin crossing her face, “there’s no better choice. This is so exciting, isn’t it, Belle?”
“Bizarre,” Belle said over top her sister. “This is not exciting. This is…this is absurd is what it is.” She shook her head back and forth, sprigs of her honey-blonde hair swinging from side to side. “You’ve not actually fallen for Rainsford Sneed. There’s no way. No way.” Her eyebrows lifted when Molly merely pressed her lips together. “Molly?”
“Lady Belle you are quite intelligent,” Molly commented, removing flour from her fingers with a damp rag. She rest her palms on the table, leaning towards her friend. “You understand those medical texts. I don’t suppose those are easier to understand than this?” Belle sniffed. “Yes, I have, indeed fallen for Rainsford Sneed.”
Fanny twisted her mouth to the side, a sparkle coming to her eye. “I think our Molly may have fancied him for a while, Belle,” she said. “And I suppose not just the idea of him.”
“Of course not just the idea of him,” Molly replied, returning Fanny’s smile with one of her own.
“I think the heat in here may have done something you, Molly,” Belle said, dotting the air with her fingertip. “Because I can’t believe…Rainsford of all people.” She sighed. “Well, you’ve at least managed to say more to the man than announcing your love of soup. I suppose that’s a small point in your favor for the type of woman Sneed would want.”
Fanny’s lips made a buzzing sound as she let out a loud, long, sigh.
“Don’t listen to her,” Molly said, giving Belle an annoyed look. Molly had become friends with the Fox sisters since her employment in the Governor’s House upon her arrival in Port Victory. She and Belle were the same; wanting more from their lives than what society deemed to be the only acceptable roles for them. And why not?”
“Because he’s arrogant—"
“Intelligent.”
“Old fashioned with medicine—"
“A skilled surgeon.”
“And only wants to advance in life.”
“Don’t we all?” Molly asked dryly. Belle opened and closed her mouth before falling silent, alternating between blinking rapidly and scoffing. “Fanny, you understand this, yes?”
“Oh, don’t ask her,” Belle said before Fanny could say a word. “He nearly had me killed!”
“And equally recognized that Jack Dawkins did, in fact, save your life and is the best surgeon in the colony,” Molly explained. “Which, might I add, won him over to the Governor and Lady Jane.”
“You do not want to be part of this,” Lady Belle said with a shake of her head, “these dinners where the men pat themselves on the back for existing, where we have no voice, where…where…”
“Where I get to spend time with my best friends on even footing for once?” Molly asked, looking around the kitchen. “Instead of being reminded how I’m only a house maid? And being treated as thus?” She knew Lady Jane wouldn’t be happy with either of her daughters interacting with the house servant. Molly’s job was to tend to the family and not be seen as much as possible. “Believe me, I am aware just how this would look to the colony. Which is why we haven’t told anyone.” She lifted a carrot and pointed it in Belle’s direction. “You, Lady Belle, are not the only woman in the colony that wants more in her life.” She emphasized her point with a loud snap of her own.
Belle gave Molly a smile that was half a smirk. A silent “Ok, I see your point.”
“Has he given you a ring?” Fanny asked, ignoring her sister.
“I suppose if he’s suddenly performed alchemy?” Belle asked with a laugh. “Has he learned how to turn nutmeg into gold?”
“Some of us like the smell of nutmeg, m’lady,” Molly said with a laugh of her own.
“Are you using nutmeg?” Jack walked into the Governor’s home, sniffing the air. He frowned. “I don’t smell any. Are you making your soup? You always use nutmeg in your soups.” He pointed a finger at the mound of dough before taking a carrot for himself. “Bread for the soup?”
Molly shook her head. All these people in her kitchen. How was she going to get anything done? “There will be no soup if you keep eating all my carrots,” she said, planting her hands on her hips.
“I don’t suppose you have any extra nutmeg seeds?” Jack asked. “I could use them.”
“You would have to ask Rainsford, I suppose,” Belle said.
Jack snorted. “Why would I ask Sneed for nutmeg?”
“Because his brother has given him 10% of his nutmeg trade.”
“So?” Jack crunched on another piece of carrot.
“So Rainsford and Molly are in a courtship,” Fanny said with an excited squeal, lifting up onto the balls of her feet.
“You and Rainsford,” Jack said around his loud crunching, and a laugh. “That’s funny.”
“Oh, no,” Belle contradicted him, “no, she’s being serious.”
“Oh.” Jack’s eyebrows lifted upwards, the corners of his lips turning downwards as he contemplated Belle’s words. “Oh well, that’s—” He looked over his shoulder at Belle who silently stared back at him. He faced forward again. “That’s interesting news.” He then squinted at Molly, tilting his head to the side. “You are aware that he thinks very highly of himself?”
“Yes, a trait most men in the colony share I’ve come to find,” Molly replied with a charming smile.
Jack made a humming sound of surprise, turning to look at Belle again, this time in amusement. “Maybe this will be of some interest to me,” he said with some finality. Turning back towards Molly he started to laugh. “Something to brighten the day a bit from time to time. After all, I have been known to enjoy a match of wits time and again. Though, I suppose, speaking with Sneed that would be easy for any man here.”
Molly lifted an eyebrow.
“Or woman.” Belle made a noise in the back of her throat. “Yes, definitely a woman.” He sucked in a breath of air, looking around. Trying to find something he could change the subject to. “So…are you going to be making any soup?” His eyes widened when he realized all the women were staring at him. “It’s…good soup.”
Silence filled the kitchen until Fanny took in a breath and asked, "What did you think of kissing a man with a mustache?"
Molly blinked rapidly at her question. "I'm sorry?" she asked over Jack's loud groan of disgust.
"Well, I've only done it the once, and it kind of felt like a fuzzy caterpillar on my lips, but I suppose after some time, I'd come to enjoy it."
"Don't answer that," Belle said, her upper lip curling.
Thank you again for the prompt Leaf! I immediately knew who this would be for when I saw you send this in. I have had this idea in my head for a while, but never really how it would play out. I'm definitely keeping this for the future chapter when it happens in Golden Brown so thank you! Hope you enjoy!
Fiona froze, staring up at Sabo as her brain tried to register what he had said. "You...what?" she asked slowly.
The look on Sabo's face was warm and gentle. Normally it would send Fiona's heart fluttering whenever her boyfriend looked at her that way, but right now the look on his face was sending her heart racing. Her mind was racing and she was trying her best to calm herself down, but nothing was working.
Caldur's voice was echoing in her head, his fake words of love bouncing around as the memory came back. The false promises he gave her and false declarations of love that he had said to her when she was so young were coming back to haunt her. Now she was staring up at her new boyfriend, the one she had fought hard to not fall for, to not have her heart broken again. The one she couldn't deny agreeing to one date. Now Sabo was repeating the same words Caldur had said to her when she was a young teen in love, saying the words that she was terrified to hear again.
Slowly, her head started shaking side to side as she looked at him. Sabo's smile fell when he saw her take a step back. He tried to reach out to her, but the look in her eyes made him drop his hand.
"Fiona?" he spoke gently.
"I-I-I," she stuttered, her hand flying to her chest, clutching her shirt and instinctively pulling it up over her scars.
"Breathe," Sabo whispered to her. "Angel, breathe."
Taking a breath in, the brunette revolutionary slowly let it out, staring into Sabo's blue eyes the whole time. Somehow his eyes always had a calming effect on her. She didn't know if she hated them in this moment or not.
Her hand slowly unclenched around her shirt, but didn't move completely from it's spot. Sabo smiled gently, glad to see a little progress. Cautiously he reached out a gloved hand and took hers in it, giving it a squeeze.
"Are you okay?" he asked, that same smile back on his face.
Fiona nodded, staring at their hands before gradually looking up at him. "Y-yeah."
Pursing her lips, she looked at him in fear and worry. What she wanted to tell him she knew he wouldn't be happy to hear. She was worried how he'd react or what he'd say. She didn't want to hurt him, but she didn't want to lie to him.
"Sabo...I..." She took a deep breath. "Thank you...for telling me, but I um...I can't say it back." She stared at him, watching his smile falter slightly causing her heart to sink. "I just...like I told you before, after Caldur I'm afraid to fall in love and I'm afraid to say I'm in love. I don't think I won't ever say it, but I want to say it when I mean it."
There was a pause as Sabo stared at her for a moment before he started laughing lightly. Fiona stared back at him, not sure whether to be angry or not.
"Fiona," Sabo said, his smile growing. "You can take all the time you need to say it. I just wanted you to know how I feel. Take your time, angel, I can wait as long as I need to."
Heat bloomed on the woman's face as Sabo brought her hand to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on her knuckles. He continued to smile at her and bring a sense of peace. Her heart was fluttering more and more as she stared at him, in disbelief from what she heard.
A small smile grew on her lips as she looked at him, the blush still on her face. "Thank you," she whispered.
the way I had to think this over for such a while bc I'm such an ameriemalakai shipper but also... malakai deserves a boyfriend who doesn't fucking suck!!! so let's do it;
Joshua Ortega has been all over the place. Born in the Philippines, he's lived in Hawaii, Singapore, Italy, France, and now, Switzerland. The international school is nothing new for Joshua, just another temporary place with temporary people, until his father's job demands yet another move across the continent. It's safe to say Joshua isn't much of a sentimental person — he's never been anywhere long enough to get sentimental about it.
He's already been at the international school for a semester when he meets Malakai Mitchell, bright eyed, bushy tailed, and in most ways the complete opposite of Joshua. Malakai is soft and romantic and so deeply forlorn about some ex girlfriend that you'd think he fell straight out of a tragic romance novel. All of the girls, of course, immediately fall in love with him. But, it's Joshua that gets the honors of being his mentor — a school appointed student that has to parent the new kid for a few weeks. lovely.
Though, Joshua should clarify that Malakai isn't the worst. He's a little too genuine for Joshua's liking, but certainly not a bad person.
“Yo, June. What’s up?”
Juno should have been startled by a person appearing suddenly outside her window in the middle of the night–but JJ had stopped startling her years ago. She doesn’t bother to glance up from her book as she replies, “yo, dude, shut up.”
Her dad was home–passed out cold on the couch and snoring away like a buzz saw–but still home. Sound carried in this house, and JJ had a habit of running his mouth until they both got in trouble for it.
JJ, apparently takes her response as an invitation. She hears the clatter of him clambering through her window, feels the bed frame rattle as he flopped onto the bottom bunk. He promptly starts pushing her mattress up with his feet through the wooden slats. Juno shuts her book with a definitive snap and leans over the side of the bunk bed, her hair falling in a messy unwashed curtain over her face. She hangs there, practically upside down like Peter Parker, as JJ flashes her a toothy grin. She narrows her eyes at him. She takes aim and tosses the book at him. It hits him squarely in the ribs, not hard enough to hurt or leave a bruise, but just hard enough to get him to knock it off.
JJ tosses the book somewhere down by his feet–he still has his disgusting muddy shoes on–before he crosses his arms behind his head, making himself comfortable. Like a cat in a fucking sun beam.
Juno narrows her eyes at him, unfortunately free of anything physical she could throw at him. “You’re not even gonna ask?”
JJ cracks an eye open, looking at her reproachfully. As if she was the one crashing into his room half past midnight. He shrugs before he begrudgingly mumbles, “can I crash here?”
“Pay up, J.”
She holds her hand out over the edge of the bunk bed, and he drops a small disk into her palm. It was a quarter–it must have been a nice quarter once, but now it was rusted over with grime and something vaguely sticky. She promptly drops it on the floor.
“Try again.”
He grumbles a string of profanities as he digs through his pockets, fishing around even in the deepest depths of his cargo shorts pockets before he comes up with a handful of loose screws and a rubber band. He presents it to her with a melodramatic flouish. “Pick a card, any card, m'lady.”
Juno raises her eyebrows. “What are you, the Little Mermaid?” She picks up the rubber band and stretches it between her fingers. “Why do you have this?”
JJ doesn’t answer, instead he jingles the screws in his palm, like she’s a dog and he’s bribing her with treats. She rolls her eyes and gathers up the screws–they were junk, but she’d accepted less from him before.
“Thank you.” She flops back onto her bed, before she tosses him another pillow over the edge of the bed. A round of sputtering follows. It must’ve hit him in the face. She snickers to herself before she adds, in a deadly serious tone. “If you snore I’m smothering you.”
JJ goes quiet–quieter than she thinks she’s ever ever experienced. She debates saying something–asking if he was okay–but that really wasn’t her style. The next minute seemed to drag out forever, and she rolls over in bed, preparing to go to sleep, when she hears JJ murmur. “Thanks, J.”
Well, I mean. Of course!! ^_^ Thank you, for asking.
Pomegranate - Which myth would they relate to most?
Amy is, at her heart, a tragic romantic.
The story of Orpheus and Eurydice . . . to love someone so dearly, that you would travel into purgatory to save them. Risking your own eternal soul for love.
She relates - because she likes to imagine . . . but true love, the soulmate love, the destined love . . . she doesn't actually believe it. Until she does.
Ruby - What do they consider most precious/valuable?
The people in her life.
Ames lost any real attachment to things some time ago. The most precious, irreplaceable things in her life are the people in it.
Rose - What gift would they most wish to receive from a lover?
. . . lol See above.
She has only a passing love for things - though time, affection, trust . . . those are the gifts she would most appreciate from a lover.
glance :: at first glance, what stands out most about your oc's appearance? what's their distinguishing feature?
there are a plethora of things that stand out in josana's physical appearance as she is very conventionally beautiful and holds the beauty standard among other noble ladies within the westerlands. for the sake of this ask, i'll only answer one (1) which are her strikingly emerald green eyes as they can captivate anyone's attention if she looked their way. they're alluring, mesmerizing, and even hypnotic, especially towards men ( woman are susceptible as well, but mainly men ). it's one of josana's many physical features that she uses to her advantage, whether it's for something major or not.
motion :: how does your oc move? how does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?
she moves very gracefully and proudly, like a proper lady of her status. she walks with her head held high, shoulders back, and hands clasped behind her back. her clothing can hinder her range of motion since her dresses and undergarments has lots of layers/fabric so they can be a bit heavy, but she's grown used to the added weight after so many years of wearing them. as for her flexibility and coordination, she's able to ride a horse ( my lil semi-horse girly ), but that's that extent of it. she's a piss-poor fighter which is an overstatement bc homegirl gets to stab one (1) guy and she doesn't even kill him, and she doesn't want to be one either as it's not her role nor duty as a noble lady.
formal :: what's your oc's formal look? do they like dressing up? do they have different looks for different occasions?
now THIS is josana's type of question ehehehehehe !! she LOVES dressing up. a fashion icon™️ as i like to call her. she dresses very formally on a daily basis, but here are some images i totally imagine her wearing: link, link, link, link. i have no idea if any of these pieces are historically accurate, but neither is the show, so frankly i dont care lol
thank you! I'll choose my infamous mc Serena for this
roots: Is your OC's look inspired by any specific style of clothing or fashion trend? What are the roots and/or inspiration for their look? Yes, actually! Serena is heavily influenced by grunge style. Flannels in all possible colors literally filling up the closet.
bling: What jewelry does your OC wear? Does it have any meaning? She wears all sort of jewelry besides rings as she's just not a fan of them. Bracelets are jewelry that always stuck by her and you will rarely if ever see her without at least one.
alternate: What would your OC's alternate universe look be? If they're a fantasy character, what's their modern look? If they're sci-fi, what's their fantasy look? What AU would you want to see your OC in, and how would they dress themself? Bonus: Prompt an AU! tbh I'm not big of an au person and I can't really picture Serena in any au. So I'll just safely keep her in my pocket and let her deal with shit in her own universe lmao.
