Since I've noticed some attention about my Dandys World Depictions, I'll go and feed anyone interested. Mainly with basic insight and headcanons for the different characters! Yayy!
One of the MOST important things in my au is the show. There are two shows, one animated and the others involving the actual toons itself. The animated version was definitely a lot more outgoing and eccentric while being a learning show. The real life show I feel was given a more sesame Street like feel for it and was mainly used for advertising the museum and merchandise. Of course giving the typical educational content. It was a way that kids could see their real life toons and entice them and their parents to come see them for themselves!
Dandy Dandelion💐☀️🦁
- He is being the main character the one with the most responsibility. He is also one of the oldest toons obviously and has learned a lot during the duration of his life. He also has the most responsibility because of this and his role as a role model and leader for the other toons while the handlers weren't around and in the show.
- He is actually royalty, shocker! I decided to make his family sort of flower lions in a monarchy lineage. Why does he look like a homeless person then? You may ask, and I have a simple answer for you. Family issues! Even the infamous lion isn't avert from them both in real life and in the show. He had left his monarch family because he felt they didn't have the same views he did and he even though was kind, didn't enjoy how they treated others. Dandy wanted to be friends and loving while his parents just worried more about money and items rather than the people they spend time with. It truly went downhill when they had arranged a marriage with him and Teagan the Cup. Afraid of his future he decided to book it and ditched her the wedding of. Making Teagan a bigger villain in the show specifically to Dandy.
- He got his love of classical music from his handler, having played it whenever Dandy wasnt going to bed. Listening to it always seems to calm Dandy down relatively easily
- The reason for him and his tapes is actually a lot deeper than you may realize looking at him upfront. Many people think that he is just greedy and I am perfectly fine with people interpreting him as this bigger villain. I even do it myself from time to time accidentally! However, the reason is more sad for mine than you would think. He makes the toons collect the tapes mainly because he himself being the first toon was also..experimented on by Delilah. Dandy wonders if he could find such tapes and recordings maybe they would find a way, a explanation to what was going on. Maybe even a way out, as well as getting revenge for someone he once lost. Something I won't tell quite yet.
- Dandy despite being a cat, the only dogs he likes are his friends and Pebble. This also includes Coal, she's his friend too.
- Dandy doesn't say he directly hates Vee, in fact he doesn't say much at all..if you don't mention her. He won't say he hates her and yet goes on rants on how irritating the television can be. Talk about a hypocrite!
- He's southern and has the voice of Wander from Wander Over Yonder. Need I say anything worse?
-He sheds..a lot during the summer time. Much to Tisha dismay and utter horror. Also he's Pansexual. Just wanted to add that there.
- Narcissism.

Poppy 🫧💗🫧
- In my version Poppy is a very athletic bubble, much to her own ego she believes she can handle anything and everything! Yes she can hold that door for you, and yes she will stop that giant dinosaur from attacking you all. No force will stop the pop-ster.
- When she first made Poppy-Pop it was very similar to the pink sauce version. This is because the bubble didn't know how to make soda. Sprout found out only after she had accidentally made every toon sick with her new disgusting creation.
- She is bi, but leans toward women moreso. Having a big fat celebrity crush on Vee. Always trying to get her attention with her amazing skills. Can't you tell? She's so cool!
- Even though her and Dandy are the same age I still wanted to incorporate how Qwell seems to like the two. For my au, when advertising her Poppy-Pop, Dandy helped her out. The two getting along and Dandy being someone she could go to for help.
- Poppy has her own friend group being Flutter, Glisten, Boxten, and Vee 😍😍😍!! (Vee rarely hangs out with them all at the same time but it's fine.)
- Poppy when she gets excited or scared starts to float. Sometimes she can get so stressed she just becomes a bunch of bubbles. Like poof! Now she needs to be remade.
- Her dad is the bubble man from SpongeBob. Or just a giant bubble. Take this what you will.

- She and Connie are the two teenagers of the toons as far as I'm aware in my au. Might change that or not it depends. Speaking of which, her and Connie are 'Married.' aka they have a promise ring.
- Gigi is like an older sister to Shrimpo which to my friends au, he is a child. The two of them are side villains in the show are often found together in the show and outside of it.
- She is a BIG. rumor starter. you tell her something you want her to not tell anyone else? Well, too bad. Now the entirety of Gardenview knows. You should've not told Gigi, I guess.
- She doesn't care what gender you use on her, anything and she will just role with it.
- HER SPIRIT FATHER IS SANS UNDERTALE AND I DO NOT HAVE A REASON FOR THIS. ITS JUST TRue
- shift in mood I know, but Gigi has struggled with her identity as a toon as being known as a thief. This is because though she cannot handle it. Literally cannot. She is a kleptomaniac and cannot control what she does and at times hates that she is the way she Is.
- She is also part chameleon.
