I'M ABOUT TO SPOIL SEASON 1 OF GAME OF THRONES
Damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I didn't see that coming. Of all the characters, I would have thought that he'd survive. Also, Joffrey is now the biggest shit that ever lived. I knew he was a bag of dicks from the start, but this, no, this is not okay.
I love this series, not only for the awesome medieval setting, but the character development is amazing and as a Political Science student, I do enjoy the politics surrounding the Iron Throne. My only complaint is that there are too many characters and storylines to follow, so I hope they all start merging so that it's easier to follow.
This is cool, onto Season 2!

NBC's Chuck has been finished
I'M ABOUT TO SPOIL SOME SHIT NOW. The last season was kind of all over the place with almost everyone getting the intersect at some point or another so much Subway product placement (which made me want a meatball marinara sub more than anything). Despite the premise for the finale being frustrating, because they have to start their love story all over again, it was touching and beautiful. As it's always done, the finale centers itself on how much heart he has and how in love Chuck and Sarah are with one another. They tie up everything pretty nicely, with Morgan and Alex moving in together, Casey going to Russia to shoot goons with Verbansky, Captain Awesome and Ellie off to Chicago, Beckman still being kick-ass, Big Mike still at the BuyMore and Jeffster, finally getting their big break.
In all honesty, I teared up. The perfect harmony with the music, the fact that they end where they started, on the beach, with Chuck telling Sarah of all the adventures they had, at the sunset. It was just, perfect. That last scene.
But now, which show to watch now?
So I started watching Chuck a good month or two ago, and I just started season 3.
Chuck Bartowski himself is a pretty lovable dork (even it is just playing it a bit), and apart from him whining, I like him. Sarah frustrates me however, because she goes between being all professional to being in love with Chuck, but it's the intent of the writers, so it's good. But moreover, I get frustrated because they're cute together and skinny love just gets to me. It also seems like Adam Baldwin plays the same tough-guy character in everything I've seen him in, not that I mind though.
One thing I could do without is the Buy More hijinks. I get that comic relief is important, but I'm just getting a little irritated because I really like the main story, and I wish I could see more of that. You can't understand my excitement when, at the end of Season 2, he quits the Buy More. I was all: "FUCK YEAH, SPY SHIT ALL THE TIME", and my deception in season 3. Also, what was that with Emmett? As much as I agree, annoying character, but it's a very odd way for him to go out.
But really, I like where the show is headed, and that Chuck isn't just the Intersect, but also a real spy, with actual skills, be it Intersect-related or not. With the addition of Captain Awesome in on the whole spy thing, and that helps out, I'd like to see Ellie or Morgan sort of do the same thing. I also want to see how the Chuck and Sarah back-and-forth pans out, and hope that they stop toying around and just goddamn make love already.
