Scott... Ough... He makes such a Perfect, Manipulative, and Fierce Coven Leader.

Lots or rambles under cut, which is placed for spoiler reasons!

Like, he was talking Apo into becoming a vampire, and it was just... perfect manipulation, and dark, and almost possessive? And it's perfect.

And then the others are asking who was new to the family, cause they didn't see Apo get turned.

It was perfect manipulation of Apo, twisting her thought process until Apo was agreeing and then Apo's, like, horror? I wonder if that can be counted as an ability? Like it was a siren-speak? Charm-speak?

Scott being called 'Sire' is literally perfect, too. Like, I always liked that Vampires turning another becomes Sire and Fledgling...

And the two vampires from two separate 'covens' now forming their own together, subconciously... that is literally the perfect fic material...

Apo is literally the most perfect reaction to being a vampire, like... She was forcefully turned and she needs to survive, want to survive, but she hates it. She hates the blood, She hates the urges, and she wants to out the others. But Apo also doesn't want to get killed herself, so she says nothing.

And Scott letting others know about him so readily if it hides the rest of his coven is... like... oddly sweet?

Hearing that Cleo just tried massacre the village because she was hungry is such a... like... Fledgling without their Sire thing to do? They were thirsty, they didn't have her sire, and there were just so many people around?

Perfect.

Question

So, I'm writing a fanfic for Day 1 of GhostWalker Week, and I happened to add John's son... but the thing is, in Canon he is seemingly unnamed. So, Google I go to so that I can look up some common boy names.

Aaaannnnddd I found several that I liked.

Vampires Thunderbolts*

I need vampire Yelena being protective of Vampire Bob.

I need Vampire Bob not realizing he's a vampire.

I need Yelena to unknowingly be his sire (because of Val experimentation and using slowly collected Venom from Yelena to turn Bob)

I need Yelena finding Bob desperately eating a tomato because he's fucking starving and he doesn't know why and Yelena walking in and seeing his fangs briefly and realizing.

Continuing

I need Ava being turned in desperation because Yelena is terrified to lose someone else.

I need John offering blood to Bob, and for a while it working, and then accidentally being turned from venom build up.

I need Alexei and Bucky arguing about how they are supposed to go about feeding four vampires.

I just... I need my vampires and found family...

I need the nesting instincts. I need the coven bonds. I need them.

I wanna do some AU building.

So, imagine a mission goes wrong, and most of the team gets turned into children of carrying ages. Okay? Yeah it's a classic age reversal sorta au. But come on, bear me out now.

The only two not affected are Alexei and Bucky (hint hint lol) and they are left with a 10 year old John, 13 year old Bob, 7 year old Ava, and 4 year old Yelena.

I did not mean to them to all be three years apart whoops, but it works.

Now, Val wanted to take the kids and see if she could figure out what happened and how to fix it. Bucky was very adamantly against the idea, and Alexei was very protective of his now very vulnerable daughter.

And and, just for the fun of it. Whatever turned them into kids left some of their powers behind, but not all of them, but also gave them one that was unique to them.

Like, Bob can feel others emotions, or manipulate them but he can feel them. The emotions of people are stronger the closer he is to them.

John can track people really well. He claims that he can see a trail of color follow people and each person has their own trail. (He uses Bob as an example cause his is weird. It's three trails following one person. A shadow like trail, a sky blue trail, and a bright golden trail)

Ava can create force fields around people or objects (but not herself). It exhausts her, and she becomes more easily intangible when she over does it. Bucky thanks every god above that Mel insisted on floors that were like Ava's suit.

And Yelena can turn invisible (and see heat signatures, which is someone connected to her invisibility) (camouflage. She gained the ability to camouflage herself like a chameleon).

It takes almost a year for the kids to wear out whatever had turned them into kids (or maybe longer) and they become an even tighter family. I love my "team" as found family AUs.

It takes Bucky and Alexei 8 months to get together. After month four the kids decided they wanted the two adults together and kept trying to make it happen.

Oh, also, Bucky is friends with Clint (or at least really good allies) and calls him for help sometimes. The kids call him Uncle Clint, and Clint absolutely cried the first time it happened.

I... So.I remember when I was a young teen / pre teen, that Percy Jackson joins the Avengers fics were really popular... Or maybe that was just on Wattpad, but there was no end to the amazing crossover and the storylines....

And I just thought....

Percy fits with the Avengers but he also fits with the Thunderbolts*.... But you know who fits with the Thunderbolts* better? Nico.

I want... I want family fluff and people learning to rely on each other and I want that with The Thunderbolts* and Nico.

Does anyone see my vision?

... Soulmate AU but telepathic links.

Two ways this could go.

The first way, where you hear your Soulmates thoughts after meeting them for the first time..soulmate not equal romantic / sexual partner. It could be enemy, friend, sibling, cousin, parent, ect... As well as romantic or sexual. The point is that it can be ambiguous as to who the soulmate is to you. You could have one, two, or even five. It gets chaotic and messy and that's just life.

The second say, where you hear your Soulmates thoughts from birth / after a certain birthday. Maybe the fifth birthday? And they are usually your best friend, romantic / sexual partner, or a familial soulmate but not always. They can be enemies too, it just depends on the person and context. But it gets funny when you annoy your soulmate on purpose and it can lead to accidentally finding out who your soulmate is.

But now, I'm thinking Thunderbolts* Soulmate AU with this concept.

Platonic soulmates Yelena and Bob and Yelena can hear The Void and The Sentry as well as Bob.... Since childhood.

(read more for darker themes such as child abuse, child neglect, red room, Thunderbolts* spoilers, and just for the fact it gets really long)

Bob has always had them, somewhere inside of him. Dark thoughts he shoved away until they manifested into a darker version of him, always cynical or protective of Bob, wanting what's best for him but not trusting anyone else to make sure it happens. The Darker version, Void, would rather Bob be alone than have anyone that could potentially hurt him around.

And Sentry formed from always being on guard, always having to protect himself, always wanting to protect his mother even when she wasn't the kindest to him. He wanted to save his father from himself too, but it always backfired and got him hurt until he didn't feel it anymore. Bob learned how to not feel and to act first whilst thinking things through. He learned how to disassociate from the pain.

When Bob went through Project Sentry, it gave him names for the conflicting emotions inside of himself. It gave him power, it gave them power.

But Yelena has always been able to hear them. Has always been able to communicate with them like they were completely different people in completely different bodies.

And when the team had to fight Sentry? A part of her hurt when she realized. Had called out to him mentally from behind and Sentry responded. But then he also kicked her ass six ways from Sunday, or just about at least, and then Void took over because he realized and wanted to meet her, but Valentine tried to kill them. Tried to inadvertently kill Yelena, again.

Void became pissed, had become so angry he was blinded by it. He wanted to help people, but he went about it so wrong and Yelena could hear him. Could hear he wanted to help others in his own twisted way. So she walked into the darkness, much to Void's chargin.

Void sees her shame, hears her pain and feels it like his own. Feels her desperation and fear and lets her cross into Bob's room, even though no one else could do that. Even let the other Thunderbolts* in too, because he knew Yelena and Bob needed them. Void wasn't happy about it, he wanted them to prove themselves. But Sentry had said something about their pain, how it was less around the others. How one was Yelena's dad and Yelena had no shame around him, embarrassment yes, but no shame in her dad. No fear of him.

Void let them find him, just to see what they would do. Heard Yelena recognize the room. He fought with them, taking care not to actually hurt Yelena like Sentry did. He could hear her pleading for them all to be let go. For New York to be let go even. Void wasn't sure if Yelena knew she was begging through the telepathy bond.

Void let Bob beat him, just to see what Yelena would do. Felt her sickening realization. Felt Yelena's fear. Felt her pain. He even heard her yelling out, begging Bob to stop. He felt her fight, her struggling, heard her in the bond that was blasted all the way open with no way to close it. Felt Yelena stop Bob from hurting himself--from hurt Void anymore than he had.

Void let them all go, let New York go, because Yelena has proved herself to him in that moment. He was putting his trust in Yelena. He even told her so when Bob started spacing out, disassociating.

Oh and John and Ava are soulmates, and Bucky and Alexei are soulmates. In their own ways of course and not like Bob and Yelena are. Each pair of Soulmates is different in their own right. Unique.

Note: I have found I really like Drabbles so now I am writing Drabbles (or Double Drabbles) to get ideas out very briefly!!

Title: Camaraderie Between Rivals (But Not Really Rivals)

Ponyboy signed in annoyance as he scribbled out another wrong answer on a piece of scratch paper as he tried to figure out his math equation. He had a test on this on Monday and he had slacked off during study hall with Johnny and now had no idea what he was doing. So he was trying to finish it before Darry figured out he was awake.

Or, he was until Steve stumbled looking more worse for ware than he did when he left their house that evening.

"Glory Steve, what happened to you?"

"Shut it tag-a-long and move over."

Pony moved over without issue, staring at Steve wideyed. A few moments of silence stretched between them before Ponyboy got up and went to the bathroom where the first aid kit was kept. Steve was surely hurting. Ponyboy was hurting just from looking at him.

When he came back, he found that there was significantly more writing on his scratch paper than when he left. He ignored it as he helped Steve patch himself up in the places Steve couldn't reach.

When he looked at his paper again, he found the equation he was stuck on broken down for him.

He had enough to feed a small sized family, but the two of them had big appetites for their own reasons. Loki to power his magic more thoroughly seeing as he doesn't have access to Asgard, and Bucky because of the Super Solider serum. "Sorry there's no eggs, we ran out last night and I didn't feel up to going outside to the hen house." Bucky shivered at just the thought of it. Loki's magic responded by wrapping a little more around him, warming him just a touch more. Loki smiled at him as Bucky set the shared plate down at the center of the table. They needed plates, silverware, the bacon… syrup… Bucky's mind started running and he turned to go get the other items they needed… Loki snickered as he levitated and moved the dishes around the kitchen. Bucky froze, waiting until everything had passed him before turning and giving Loki a fond but exasperated expression.

My Marvel Rare Pair Bingo Card

Bucky hummed quietly, flipping a pancake onto it's other side a fresh bacon sizzled on the pan next to it. He found it honestly appealing that Loki had never had a proper breakfast on Earth, so he was setting out to fix that. Besides, it had been a while since Bucky got to cook for someone else—at the tower it was always Steve or Bruce cooking, or maybe Clint if he felt like being nice, and before that… Well, the less Bucky thought about then the better.

Regardless on when Bucky last got to cook a proper meal, he has enjoyment in the motions of it. He has good memories that he was sometimes still working on piecing back together. Following his Ma around the kitchen, helping her bake holiday cookies, helping her cook big dinners before his father passed… Hell, there were memories of Steve watching as Bucky cooked and even Bucky teaching Steve how to cook.

They were good memories, Bucky knew. Had decided even when the felt the dredges of what ifs try cloud his mind.

There was a scuffle of flooring that had Bucky looking up and smiling. Loki was just turning the corner, no doubt announcing his presence so as to not startle Bucky. He was still very much an assassin on the run from whatever number of agencies.

"Mornin' darlin'," Bucky smiled as much as he could, a small and soft thing that was pretty much only reserved for Loki. Loki blinked, taking in the scene for a moment before a smile stretched onto his face. There was a light pink on his face as he used Bucky's jacket to wrap further around himself, hiding the fact he was wearing one of Bucky's shirts too. Bucky felt all warm at the image of Loki in his clothes.

"Good morning," Loki intoned, moving further into the room as Bucky moved towards the coffee maker. He knew how Loki liked his coffee if he deigned to have coffee, and more recently the God of Mischief has been craving coffee—mostly black with sugar and a touch of creamer and some honey. Loki took a deep breath, his magic wrapping around the room like a lazy wolf and a warm presence.

Bucky felt himself warm, not having noticed the chill that had slowly been slipping into him.

"You forgot to light the fire again, ástkærr." Loki noted, sounding more amused than anything. Loki probably only noticed because it wasn't sweltering hot in their cabin. Bucky shrugged, flipping another pancake while be waited for the coffee maker, but now pouting that the others may have been too cold. Loki came up beside him, wrapping an arm around his waist and leaning against him. "Smells good."

"Good. Made them from scratch so they should taste better than when… anyone else makes them." Bucky hesitated, tilting his head as he thought about his words. It wasn't that he was upset by being affiliated with The Avengers, but the avengers were a touchy subject for Loki regardless of who they were friends with.

Bucky turned, wrapping his arms around Loki, who sounded briefly surprised before melting against the Super Soldier. The two stood there in silence, just holding one another. Bucky could tell when the pancakes were done, and the bacon he had moved off the heat when he wasn't paying attention. They were fine for a few minutes while Bucky held his lover.

"How long have you been up?" Loki asked, letting go of Bucky to snag the coffee pot, the smell becoming too much for him and Bucky knew he just needed his caffeine allowance for the day. Bucky shrugged, moving to take the now finished bacon oit of the pan, being careful not to get anything that would leave residue on his metal arm. Grease was such a pain to get off his arm, and it ended up everywhere if there was a lot.

"Don't remember when I got up." Bucky answered when his shrug was not answer enough. Loki made a displeased hum, even as he slipped on his coffee and moved towards their nook—a booth built into a section of their cabin that had a wall on either side and wasn't good for much else than storage… until Loki had seen a picture of a booth sectioned away in a magazine.

It kept most of the kitchen free for them to move around. Or dance at night when Bucky was particularly sentimental about his past and Loki felt like indulging him. Bucky har loved dancing once upon a time, and Loki reminded him of that.

"I know, but I also want us to sit down and eat together." Loki smiled, his expression softening as Bucky relented. He was weak to Loki, especially when the other was wearing his clothes.

After breakfast, Bucky pulled Loki to the living room, letting the two of them curl up on the couch together after lighting a fire. Loki had no real preference as to the temperature of their cabin. If it had been just him living at the cabin, Bucky felt he could hazard a guess that Loki would never light the fire.

Bucky hummed, holding Loki close to him and hiding his face against the other's shoulder. He felt exhausted, but he had no real desire to sleep. Loki playing with his hair was not helping the battle that Bucky was trying to fight.

"You should sleep," Loki murmured. Bucky shook his head, sighing quietly as he fiddled with the edge of his shirt on Loki. He hadn't noticed it earlier, having been too distracted by Loki in his jacket.

"I love how you look in my shirt." Bucky murmured, reaching up and pressing a kiss to Loki's temple. Loki scoffed, a content smile on his face as he leaned further into Bucky.

"I know you do." Loki murmured back, turning and kissing Bucky's lips. Bucky smiled shyly, much to Loki's obvious amusement. "But you know you should sleep." Loki chuckled, settling down and sighing in contentment.

Bucky grumbled, but let Loki lull him into a light sleep. He knew the moment he started having a nightmare that Loki would wake him up or pull his mind away from the terrible memories.
