I'm still "not watching" Journey with You, but if I was, I'd be obsessed with these color-coded boys in love.

First because this evil prince stays red.

Like the man needs therapy and a new mom.

But also because Yin Qi and Pei Yan Zhi were so well color coded in the past.

Yin Qi was the light and happy fifth son of the emperor, and Pei Yan Zhi was a dark kid being held hostage because of his family's dealings.

And even though there was clearly love between them, Pei Yan Zhi only wanted to make sure Yin Qi was safe.

The Blinding Light of Love was always there, but Pei Yan Zhi kept avoiding it.

And the fire between them was obvious, but Pei Yan Zhi never would flame it.

Because his sole desire was to protect the light, not to be one with the light.

But three years apart caused Yin Qi to turn dark.

So now that he is back from death, there are barriers between the two.

Since all Yin Qi wants is the truth and openness between them while Pei Yan Zhi is still holding secrets.

And it took Yin Qi almost getting hit in his heart for Pei Yan Zhi to realize what resides in his own heart.

He literally sucked the poison out of Yin Qi to keep his light.

And the poison has always been the evil prince who continues to come between them.

So now that they can both be honest with each other, the barriers are dissolving.

But they are still being watched by the evil prince.

However, if I were watching the series, this would raise my hopes that they will get a happy ending this time around since they are stronger together.

And as long as the light remains, they can find their way of the darkness.

But I'm not watching it, so I'm not obsessed with them, their colors, or this story about the importance of light.

Not even close.

Not even a little bit.

Not even at all.

Scott... Ough... He makes such a Perfect, Manipulative, and Fierce Coven Leader.

Lots or rambles under cut, which is placed for spoiler reasons!

Like, he was talking Apo into becoming a vampire, and it was just... perfect manipulation, and dark, and almost possessive? And it's perfect.

And then the others are asking who was new to the family, cause they didn't see Apo get turned.

It was perfect manipulation of Apo, twisting her thought process until Apo was agreeing and then Apo's, like, horror? I wonder if that can be counted as an ability? Like it was a siren-speak? Charm-speak?

Scott being called 'Sire' is literally perfect, too. Like, I always liked that Vampires turning another becomes Sire and Fledgling...

And the two vampires from two separate 'covens' now forming their own together, subconciously... that is literally the perfect fic material...

Apo is literally the most perfect reaction to being a vampire, like... She was forcefully turned and she needs to survive, want to survive, but she hates it. She hates the blood, She hates the urges, and she wants to out the others. But Apo also doesn't want to get killed herself, so she says nothing.

And Scott letting others know about him so readily if it hides the rest of his coven is... like... oddly sweet?

Hearing that Cleo just tried massacre the village because she was hungry is such a... like... Fledgling without their Sire thing to do? They were thirsty, they didn't have her sire, and there were just so many people around?

Perfect.
