***Spoilers for Thunderbolts* (2025) ahead***

(I know it's been out for a few months now but I'm erring on the side of caution)

Just thinking about the many contributions to the recent Ghostwalker Week and how so many of us have fallen in love with this pairing.

But it also got me thinking about how things could have been different had the original plans for the Thunderbolts* movie been kept.

If Ava's story with Antonia was going to be a focus then there'd likely be no room for our favourite John and Ava interactions.

It makes me wonder if the deviation from the original plans was at least partly due to the chemistry on show between Wyatt and Hannah, having worked together previously.

I personally had no attachment to the Antonia character but I know that some people were very disappointed by the small amount of screen time she got and were shocked by her early exit.

However, I think we have to acknowledge that things might have been very different had the director Jake and the MCU team opted out of changing things.

Taskmaster died so that Ghostwalker could live.
