This is a different anon then the one that mentioned this before, but about the really popular twitter post about shipping only percabeth has some shockingly hateful comments :(( There were multiple twitter posts in that thread saying that people that shipped percy with anyone other than Annabeth should k*ll themselves or go to hell, twitter is getting to be just a very scary place in general for pjo multi shippers.

Eh. twitter has never been a safe place for shipping. Not as far as I know it. Since the dawn of shipping culture and the emergence of social media, there have always been people who are parasocial enough to death-threat someone else over, literally, 2D pixels.

Jesus Christ, I experienced it myself LMAO. Albeit on this hellsite called Tumblr.

Anw. A few words about this. These words apply to all fandom, not just PJO (unless it's a irl/real people fandom, then Idk ab that lmao)

I remember something I read from the Chinese fandom: The shipping culture, down to its very core, has never been about morals or righteousness or canon or whatever appropriate thing you come up it, but the genuine joy you yourself gain from the experience. It's about you.

Does it mean you win when your ship is canon? No. Absolutely not. That's just a narrow-minded view. The winning one is the one who gets the most joy out of this whole shipping delusional, imagining thing, regardless of the nature of the ship or whatever that is. Are you happy? Yes? Then you win!

Whoever said otherwise does not understand the purpose included in the shipping term itself.

About the specific post, I would suggest that you block whoever shows hostility that way on sight, especially if you're in the US or whatever country that enables gun possession I guess...

I mean. Where I live this shouldn't be too much of a critical issue, but I'm kinda worried when the Western Twitter users start getting... vicious (?) when the possibility remains that they would very much likely go to whatever they had in mind, with... dangerous weapon... to boost.

And it'd be so, so, so absurd to get killed over a fictional ship. it just isn't worth it. Not that death-threating ppl is worth it, but it's hard to change stupid opinionated dogmatic people's minds on the other side of the screen, so. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Don't risk your (online or irl) safety over it.

By the way it's the 21st century. who tf cares about going hell. I'm the manifestation of Satan itself, ok!? If you're worried about going to hell, just hit me up, I'll prepare the president's room for you with the view overlooking the tormented souls of those who think their fictional morals are worth more than real people's lives. I'll build you a sanctuary for you to create whatever the hell you want and god can try to pry it out of my black and blue hands. TRY ME.

Part II

Prince Henry of Wales was experienced with skillfully navigating the world of international cooperation. Alex, however, kept refusing to cooperate. His eyes continued to burn whenever he looked at the prince and though he pretended they burned with loathing, Henry knew better. Yes, the first son was closeted, but Henry’s gaydar was well honed after years of being in the closet himself.

So when Alex mocked his accent, Henry saw through it. He wondered if Alex had a thing for all English accents, or just his posh one. He didn’t take the bait though, because he couldn’t risk Alex knowing that the attraction was returned.

When Alex threatened to push him into the Thames, Henry saw through that too. He reckoned the First Son just wanted to see him soaking wet, clothing clinging to skin. He remained determinately polite, careful not to give Alex any encouragement.

Again and again they would meet and Alex would approach him and pretend to hate him while Henry would act civil and disengaged. Alex was never as forward as he had been at the Olympics, but Henry knew that the American still wanted him. He just knew. He was sure that Alex’s interest was purely sexual and not at all romantic, but it still took everything not to succumb and just let Alex seduce him. But, as Henry was practiced in the arts of suppressing emotions, he could hold strong. Well, just so long as Alex pretended to hate him.

But when Alex approached him at the Royal Wedding, Henry’s resolve faltered. The prince had been sulking about how someday soon he would be forced to have a wedding just like this one. When Alex interrupted his thoughts by talking about champagne fountains, it was a welcome distraction. As usual, the first son was horribly rude and hopelessly obvious. The way he leant his elbow on Henry’s shoulder; clearly an excuse to be near to him. Over the years Henry noticed that Alex had a habit of invading his personal space.

“Do you ever get tired of pretending,” Alex said. Henry almost nodded before Alex finished his sentence. “you’re above all this?”

Henry hated the assumptions that Alex was making, but he let him continue, if only because he liked the way his voice sounded like worn leather and citrus. He imagined that Alex’s lips might taste like desert sunsets and champagne. When Alex removed his elbow from the prince’s shoulder, he yearned for Alex’s scent to linger in the air around him. He didn’t often get a chance to drink up the beauty of this boy in person, and as long as Alex was talking, Henry had a perfectly valid excuse for looking at him. Also, Alex seemed to think that Henry hated him, which was achingly incorrect.

“...doesn’t that get exhausting?”

“I’m…” Henry stopped. He had been about to say ‘I’m exhausted’ before remembering that he couldn’t be vulnerable to the ticking time bomb that was Alex Claremont-Diaz. “... a bit more complicated than that.”

Alex was drunk, but he was cute. He was obnoxious too, but that had never quelled Henry’s crush in the past.

“Sorry I’m not obsessed with you like everyone else,” said Alex. “I know that must be confusing for you.”

“Do you know what?” Henry replied. “I think you are.”

He hadn’t meant to say that, but he smirked as Alex’s jaw fell open, his eyes widening with surprise. It was an uncharacteristically rash thing to say, but Alex’s blatant denial of his obvious attraction was begging for a contradiction. Despite Henry’s resolution to never confront Alex about his feigned disinterest, in this moment he was tired and it just came out. He was exhausted from dancing with girls, hiding the truth from the media, and parading around a ridiculously ostentatious wedding, all in order to maintain his royal image. In this moment he craved honesty.

“Only a thought,” Henry continued. “Have you ever noticed that I have never once approached you and have been exhaustively civil every time we’ve spoken? Yet here you are, seeking me out again.”

As Alex began to stammer denial, the prince felt exposed. Though he kept his emotions carefully concealed, his heart was racing. He never should have said that. What if Alex openly admitted that he was attracted to him? He wouldn’t be able to resist. Or, much worse, what if Alex disproved his theory and he had been wrong about their mutual attraction all along?

But Alex didn’t confirm or deny anything. Henry’s brain was speeding at a million questions per second. At the beginning of their conversation, Alex had revealed that he didn’t understand why Henry had danced with June. How could Alex not empathize with the need to convince the public of his heterosexuality? This was a shared experience, was it not?

But… perhaps Alex hadn’t noticed that the prince was gay? Henry knew from embarrassingly extensive research that the first son was smart, but yet Alex hadn’t guessed that the dance with June had been a ruse. Sure, Henry tried to hide his sexuality, but the obviously queer boy that had been hitting on him for years had to have guessed the prince’s orientation. Right?

Because, if Alex didn’t know that Henry was gay, why would Alex hold onto any interest in him? Although, come to think of it, why was Alex so antagonistic all the time anyways? It was almost as if he was in denial, as if he couldn’t admit their chemistry to himself.

Overwhelmed and highly aware of the crowd around them, Henry turned to leave.

“Have a lovely evening, Alex.”

Next thing, Alex was grabbing his shoulder, stumbling backwards, and knocking a $75,000 cake onto the floor. As the cake smashed to sludge, Henry’s quick mind drew three correct conclusions:

One: Alex had no idea that Henry was gay. Two: Alex had no idea that he himself was attracted to men. Three: Alex was completely and utterly oblivious about his infatuation with the Prince Henry of Wales.

Started writing a Hedric fanfiction because writing makes me happy and there is not enough love for this pairing.

She couldn’t remember anything from before the accident, everything was a blur. She couldn’t even remember who her boyfriend was, and that’s what hurt the most. That was four years ago. What happens when Shelly begins to remember bits and pieces of her past?

A few months later…

Shelly woke up in pain.

“Ho-seok.” she said shaking him slightly he grunted. “Ho-seok.”

The pain got a bit more intense.

“Ho-seok!” she finally shouted, hitting his back.

He shot up, already dressed in normal clothes. “What?! Is it time?!”

Shelly nodded. He panicked and began running around the room trying to find everything they needed, before helping her from the bed and down the stairs.

While waiting for Shelly to be ready to deliver the baby, Ho-seok called his friends and told them that it was finally happening. Shelly whimpered in pain.

“Shelly, you got this. You’re the strongest person I know.” Ho-seok said, taking her hand and letting her squeeze the life out of it.

A doctor came in to check her, before announcing that she was crowning, causing multiple nurses to come to the room they were in.

“Okay 10 second push and then 10 second break.” the doctor said, “Now.”

Ho-seok watched as the love of his life held their baby in her arms.

“He looks just like you.” Shelly said in a raspy voice. “What should we name him?”

As Ho-seok went to respond when six males walked into the room and crowded around Shelly, pushing Ho-seok away.

“He’s so cute!” Jimin said, giving his signature eye smile.

“Look at the little peach fuzz on his head.” Jungkook points out.

“Cute as a button.” Namjoon adds, looking at the baby.

“He’s gonna grow up to be handsome, just like his not-blood-related-uncle.” Jin says putting his finger in the baby’s grasp. “And strong too.”

“Maybe being a traitor isn’t so bad. Are you sure it's a boy?” Taehyung asks, peering into the baby’s face with wide eyes.

“He looks like a horse. Just like his dad.” Yoon-gi says, causing a laugh to sound throughout the room.

“Yeah well, your kids are gonna look like turtles!” Jin counters defending his ‘nephew’.

“What are you gonna name him?” Namjoon asks.

Shelly and Ho-seok make eye contact.

“Jung Irving Alexandr.” they say together.

A few days went by, before Shelly and Irving were released from the hospital. As soon as they got home, Shelly limped to the couch and sat down. Ho-seok sat down beside her, Irving sound asleep in his arms.

“I’ll go take him to his crib. I built it while you were at the hospital.” Ho-seok says standing up and walking up the stairs.

Deciding she didn’t want to be in the living room alone even for a few minutes she limped her way up the stairs. In a room, she saw Ho-seok gently lay Irving down in his crib. As he turned around to leave the room he saw Shelly standing in the doorway.

“There’s something I have to ask you.” he says pulling her into the hallway.

Shelly pays attention to his every move.

“Shelly, we’ve been through a lot. When you first got into the car crash and lost all recollection of yourself, of us, I was heartbroken. I lost you. And I almost lost you again a few months ago. Shelly, I don’t want to lose you anymore.” he said tears forming in his eyes as he kneels in front of her. “Shelly Malott, will you stay by side, become my little seashell, and marry me?”

She stared at him before nodding, “Yes.” ~~~~~~~~ “When you say that you love me I walk on the sky Tell me forever just one more time When you say that you love me I just need one word. Nine days later…

The phone rang throughout the home, waking up both Shelly and Ho-seok from their slumber. 

Ho-seok lazily reaches for the phone on the bedside table. 

“Hello?” he asks in his husky voice.

“I’m her boyfriend, I’ll put her on the line in a second. Shell, it’s for you.” he says handing Shelly the phone lazily. 

“Hello?” she asks.

“Hi, is this Miss Malott?” the voice on the other end asks.

“Yes.”

“Okay great. The doctor has the results from your blood work and would like you to come in today to go over the results with you. Can you come in at around, say noon?”

“Yes. Of course. I’ll be there.”

“Great. See you then.”

Shelly hangs up and lays back down.

“What did she want?” Ho-seok asks, turning to face here.

“Doctor wants to see me today at noon. What time is it?” she asks.

“10 o’clock. Better start getting ready then.” 

Dragging herself out of bed she begins to get ready.

The two wait in the room for the doctor.

“I bet we would die in here and no one would know since no one has to check on us.” Ho-seok says looking around the room for the hundredth time.

As he goes to say something else, the door opens and the doctor comes in.

“Shelly, good to see you doing well.” she says send her a smile, before looking at the papers in the folder in her hands. “So last week you got blood work done, correct?”

Shelly nods. 

“Well, from the looks of the results….congratulations!” she says gleefully. 

Shelly’s jaw drops as the news hits her.

She’s pregnant. She’s pregnant with Ho-seok’s baby. 

“I want to do a sonogram to show you guys the embryo, okay?” she asks, putting on gloves as Ho-seok nods.

She tells Shelly to unbutton her jeans and roll up her shirt, while giving the warning that the gel will be cold. It takes a few minutes, soon they are looking at the embryo in Shelly’s body.

“See that little black dot right there?” she says pointing to an area on the TV screen. “That’s your baby.”

They got home and the first thing Ho-seok did was pull her into a tight embrace. “I love you so damn much Shelly. So damn much.”

Julian Korb imagine part 11

Du musst schmunzeln. “Vielleicht wäre es wirklich gut ein paar Tage zu bleiben...”. “Aber nur wenn es keine Umstände macht!” ergänzt du dich nun und blickst verlegen zu Boden. “Ich würde es dir nicht vorschlagen, wenn es für mich nicht okay wäre.” gibt Julian dir nun lächelnd zurück und beginnt danach direkt mit einer Führung durch seine Wohnung. “Und hier könntest du dann schlafen!” meint er, während er auf ein großes Bett in einer Art Schlafzimmer zeigt. “Schläfst du hier nicht?” fragst du nun unsicher nach und blickst dich ein wenig im Zimmer um. Das Alles sieht so gar nicht nach Männerhaushalt aus. Julian scheint tatsächlich auf Kleinigkeiten zu achten und somit passt selbst die Bettwäsche zur Deko im Zimmer. “Ich schlaf dann auf der Couch, glaub mir die ist bequem, ich hab damit kein Problem.” entgegnet dir Julian nun und zeigt dir, wo du deine Klamotten unterbringen kannst. “Und so schnell zieht man zusammen.” beginnt er nun zu lachen und schlägt die Hände über dem Kopf zusammen. “Ohjeh, ohjeh, wenn das meine Kollegen erfahren würden oder meine Eltern erst!” -”Niemandem erzählen bitte!” unterbrichst du ihn nun und lehnst dich währenddessen gegen die Küchentheke. “Nein, nein. Versprochen. Bin ja froh, wenn du das genau so siehst. Ich meine du kennst die Presse. Wäre unklug, wenn man uns öfters gemeinsam sehen würde, verstehst du?” erklärt dir Julian nun und blickt dir feinfühlig in die Augen. “Ja klar, verstehe....” gibst du ihm zurück, denkst dabei aber gar nicht an die Presse sondern nur an David. David durfte das nicht mitbekommen. Er würde niemals von alleine darauf kommen, dass du bei einem Fußballer untergekommen bist. Da bist du dir sicher. Aber er würde dich suchen. Zu groß seine Angst, dass du ihn bei der Polizei verpfeifen könntest. “Du, ich muss dann aber auch los. Hab noch ein paar Dinge zu erledigen. Brauchst du irgendwas? Ich könnte dir was auf dem Rückweg mit bringen, damit du nicht raus musst...” möchte Julian nun von dir wissen und zieht sich dabei seine Jacke über. “Nein, danke. Ich brauche nichts.” lächelst du ihn nun dankbar an und beobachtest ihn, wie er nun nach seinen Schlüsseln greift und einen letzten Blick in den Spiegel wirft um seine Frisur zu kontrollieren, bevor er die Wohnung verlässt. “Ach so, falls du irgendwas nicht findest, etwas passiert oder sonst was, ruf mich einfach an.” merkt Julian nun noch an und schließt anschließend die Tür hinter sich. Dein Handy. Anrufen wirst du ihn damit sicher nicht. Nutzlos so ein Ding, wenn man es nichtmal mehr anmachen kann. Du blickst dich ein wenig planlos in der Gegend umher und läufst dann nochmal alle Räume ab. In der Wohnung von Julian Korb. Du musst schmunzeln bei dem Gedanken. Langsam kommst du zu Ruhe und genießt dieses kleine gewonnene Stück Freiheit. Das Alles kann so nicht ewig weiter gehen, aber für den Moment ist es gut. Mehr als gut.
