More Gray Dragon Wyrmling

Council of Wyrmlings: Zithuzirrurrin's Jewelry
The next entry in the series, my Gray wyrmling, Zithuzirrurrin, or Zith for short. Although he, being a Gray Dragon, is not recognized by the Council of Wyrms as a part of their society, our wyrmlings still treat him like part of the team. As such, he has the gang's signature color-coded wristbands! Also, he carries a bag-of-holding for the quests that the team goes on! Oh, and since he's still very young, I gave him one floppy ear, because cute.

My DnD Dragon Characters: Zithuzurrirrin the Gray
A dragon character I made not too long after I made my original list of dragon characters, so he didn't get to make an appearance there, but he definitely deserves to be acknowledged as an honorary character given he's one of my favorites, right up there with Zelithseth the Blue and Sargoth the Black.
Zithuzurrirrin is a Gray Dragon, one of these bad boys:
Formerly known as Fang Dragons, Gray Dragons are awesome dragons that combines the hunter nature of the White Dragon and the sadistic cruelty of the Black Dragon. These dragons are the most physically powerful of all dragons, outmuscling even Red Dragons of similar age group. Their bite can drain life-force and even devour the soul on critical hits, and they can turn their foes to stone. They can mimic the voices of their prey, and can shoot out the quills that adorn them to pin their victims. Their magical ability is limited compared to other dragons and they are clumsy flyers with short wings and heavy bodies, but they make up for it in sheer physical might and they use their wings give their lunges a speed boost and added height to their leaps.
For a long time, Fang Dragons didn't have a breath weapon, but in 4th edition, this was changed to give them an acidic glue to ensnare their prey and they were given the new name of Gray Dragons. Lore was made to explain this change and it is that lore that inspired Zithuzirrurrin's creation.
For you see, Tiamat, the five-headed goddess of the evil chromatic dragons, looked upon the Fang Dragons (who were not born of her) and declared that she can do better. So she experimented upon the eggs of Fang Dragons, improving them with their breath weapon and petrifying gaze. She gave them the new name of Gray Dragons, officially adopting them as chromatic dragons. Once she modified enough of them, she unleashed them upon the world with one task: to kill off the Fang Dragons and purify the species.
Zithuzirrurrin was one of those altered eggs, and he was born a Gray Dragon, raised under the cruel gaze of his Dark Queen where mercy is weakness and weakness is death. Because of his upbringing, Zithuzirrurrin is wholly devoted to the goddess, hunting in her name with fervor and malicious glee.
Like his Fang Dragon ancestors, his favorite food are intelligent humanoids, who he hunts and toys with cruelly. But his favorite thing to hunt are the aforementioned Fang Dragons, all in the name of Tiamat. It's sad if you think about it, for as aggressive and cruel Fang Dragons are, they never attack members of their own kind. Zithuzirrurrin took full advantage of this, and his victims often don't realize that he's a traitor until it's too late. His favorite tactic is posing as an interested mate, for it is the males that go into heat and their courtship of hunting the female as if she were prey did well to mask his intentions. He has tricked his mates into being vulnerable before him and open for the killing blow.
He travels around as a nomad, the location of his main lair unknown as he spends most of his time away from it. He establishes temporary lairs as he hunts, like a hunter's cabin. Most of his time is spent stalking and observing his chosen targets, the more formidable the prey, the better. Though evil and viewing mortals as food, he does take odd jobs as a bounty hunter for those brave enough to approach him, putting his hunting skills to use against worthy foes. Though he will take payment for his hoard, he doesn't do it for the money but rather something to do for fun.
Now, when I say he is devoted to Tiamat, I mean it. Even other Gray dragons think he's insane. Other Grays do not like Tiamat, but begrudgingly do as told to avoid the fate of their ancestors. Zithuzirrurrin however sees the Dark Queen as his mother, who has given him and his kin a gift for which they are indebted to her for. He will go out of his way to do Tiamat's bidding, declares each of his kills a sacrifice to her, and advocates for her whole-heartedly. He despises Bahamut, her brother, and wishes to drive metallic dragons to extinction the same way as Fang Dragons. Many interactions with other dragons involve them trying to dissuade him away from Tiamat's influence. Most times, he disregards their words and argues on her behalf. Although recent developments have it where he is starting to question himself. He still clings desperately to Tiamat, but when even other chromatic dragons, Tiamat's own children, denounces her..........
A fang dragon, also known as a gray dragon, was a type of dragon found in Faerûn.
Fang dragons were poor flyers, with small muscled wings. Their eyes tended to be either red or orange. Their heads were edged with spikes or horns. Their bodies tended to be covered in bony plates that ended in spurs at the joints, and their tails were forked with scythe-like tips. Their scale colors were a muddy mix of gray and brown.
These dragons were susceptible to seemingly random outbursts of rage and violence. They were exceptionally cruel, and had a tendency to "play" with their food. However, if backed into a corner, they were quick to bargain for their lives.
They could perfectly mimic any sound or voice which they had previously heard.

Fang dragons were skilled at physical combat, particularly because their bodies were so lethal. They could use their muscled wings for quick forward lunges, using their tails to trip opponents and their claws to slash, all the while menacing their foes with the bony spurs all over their bodies.
The bite of a fang dragon could drain the life force from a victim, however they did not have a breath weapon until Tiamat changed them, at which point the improved gray dragons had an acid breath weapon.
Fang dragons had the innate yet limited ability to cast a number of spells, namely detect magic, read magic, shield, telekinesis, dispel magic, spell turning, and globe of invulnerability. They developed these powers as they aged, and the eldest of fang dragons had the ability to regenerate. However, fang dragons' magic was not particularly powerful as compared to most other types of dragons, and thus some supplemented their powers with the use of magic items.
Their diet consisted of flesh, of which they preferred that of intelligent mammals.
Fang dragons made their homes in rocky areas. They sometimes sealed up their lairs with boulders or other materials before leaving them, usually in the hunt for food, which they preferred to find far from their homes.
They typically spoke bits and pieces of a handful of languages, and they used this ability in order to negotiate their way out of situations that could result in difficult or even deadly battles.
Although cruel and aggressive, a fang dragon never attacked another of its kind. They generally mated once every sixty years, but did not form family units.
Fang dragons were a favored monster of the deities Iyachtu Xvim and Malar.
They had an instinctive and mutual dislike of red dragons.
Fang dragons were first encountered in the ruins of Myth Drannor, which has led to speculation that they were connected to the demonic inhabitants that resided there after its fall. They could also be found, as of 1372 DR, in the Starwood in Cormanthor, the Border Forest, Spiderhaunt Woods, and other forest areas of the Dalelands, the Moonsea and Sembia.
At some point, the goddess Tiamat chose to subject fang dragon eggs to a ritual that "improved" the hatchlings by giving them a breath weapon. After that point they were known almost solely as "gray dragons." She charged all gray dragons with purifying the species by killing any known fang dragons.
