I don't know if I've ever taken the time to talk about and explain some of the dynamics of Dennis' and Jack's relationship with each other, so I'm going to take this ask as an opportunity to do so since Jack does technically qualify as an NPC to this blog.

They're friends, obviously, but they're the type of friends who have known each other for a long time and have practically grown up together, side by side. They first met around the ages of 7 or 8 years old, so with them now being 15-16 years old they've known each other for pretty much half their lives. So the bond in their relationship runs deep and they're incredibly close with one another, but this can unfortunately make some of their disagreements that much harder on them too because it tends to get very emotional between them.

I like to think they make a great leadership duo too, despite some of the insecurities Dennis has about his abilities and what role he holds within Team Prime. Jack is like the acting commander; he makes the calls and the group follows. Meanwhile, Dennis operates like Jack's second in command by helping keep the others (mainly Miko) steered towards Jack's goals and watching over the everyone while Jack keeps his eyes on the prize. Not that Jack is neglectful of the group, because his top priority is always their safety, but while Jack is running at the front, leading the group, Dennis holds the rear and watches everyone's back.

They've got a strong sense of how one another operates. They've got inside jokes that not even Miko or Raf are in on, countless memories of time spent together, and a certain level of trust that just isn't shared or replicated with the others. There's secrets between them that no one else in the group knows, and those secrets will stay between the boys for as long as they're in agreement to hold them. Jack is probably the only one out of the entire group who fully knows about the details surrounding Gramps, Achim, and Jaden, and while it frustrates and worries him to no end he respects Dennis' desire for privacy. Given the chance though, he'd confront all three of them about what's been going on with Dennis lately.

Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?, What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

//Ambition is definitely a hard line for Megatron; he will almost always admire someone who seeks to rise above their station, who has a plan for their life (or for their empire, or planet, etc.) and does everything within their power to see that plan come to fruition. Even in the face of everything he’s done, everything he;s destroyed and everyone he’s killed, ambition is still driving his every action.

He’s wiser for his years, for all the mistakes he’s made the revelations he’s had on the way, and it allows him to look back on his legacy and criticize himself for the choices he made in the name of ambition...but I think as much as he regrets some of the things he’s done, he’d do it all over again if given the opportunity. He may say he’d do things differently...but in the end, he knows what choice he made and he feels it was the right one, in spite of everything.

Ambition is what took him from a slave to the greatest gladiator Cybertron has ever known, and it’s what took him beyond the Pits, and into the arena of the Senate itself. Ambition drove him to cruel and terrible things, to the destruction of cities, his own people, and their world, but without his ambition, he never would have found his way from a life of slavery and servitude.

Megatron’s flaws are numerous, but if I had to choose the greatest one in terms of relationships...I’d probably say he’s just a giant, unforgivable asshole. 

Like, there’s no delicate, flowery, poetic way of saying it; he’s just an evil bastard.

He has a temper, and he doesn’t control said temper, and the temper gets the best of him and he takes out his ire on everyone around him. Starscream was the whipping boy for too many millions of years, and Megatron’s actions definitely cost him that relationship early on. In RP-verse, they had history before the war, but that ended when Megatron accused Starscream of not doing enough before the Senate and hit him, pretty much sending him to the medbay, and after that they were estranged for centuries.

He’s a lot better at recognizing his issues now, and he’s dealing with them (he’s doing a lot better, actually), and I don’t think he really deserves Starscream’s forgiveness, but he has it, and he has Starscream as his bondmate (which is another can of worms entirely), so it’s progress.

He’s still an unrepentant bastard, but he’s grown more stable over the past few years, and he works hard at being amicable to those who consider him a friend, and he’s pleasantly surprised, sometimes, at the number of mecha who want his company.

💅 Do you have a comfort show, game, or book?

So, I actually don't garner much comfort from shows, books, and movies. The concept of it is kind of lost on me. I get how it can work for some people but those types of media have just never been a comforting presence in my life. They're more like entertainment. This isn't me trying to knock on those comfort methods though! Just a particular thing I've noticed in myself and how I tend to hit-and-run things (ignoring how certain medias will go to inspire me to make characters/fanfiction later on).

I do, however, take comfort in Age of Empires and Stardew Valley. AoE is a very familiar game; I've been playing it since I was 6/7 years old. It's like home to me. Then, Stardew Valley has just... grabbed me in a way I never would have expected for a game of its type. For all its infuriating vagueness and lack of guidance, the simplicity makes it nice when I just want to vibe peacefully.

But, in the spirit of providing an answer... Blackguard. My muse for her is not as strong anymore, but her story means the world to me too. I love her, I love how she grew, I love who she is, and I love how she indirectly brought me to very many amazing people who are pillars in my life right now. ♥

Doing a rough head count (because there's a healthy sized gaggle all around but I'm also extremely nitpicky about who's actually developed enough to be a bonafide character worth sharing/counting), I've got... seven.
