Doing what you love is important. These two beautiful humans are shining examples of that and they bring me so much joy and inspiration! This is a shot from a show at @stonecat_cafe last night. It’s the lead singer of my favorite band @maddywalshandtheblindspots and my husband #BrettBeardslee. Brett opened for @maddmaddywalsh and the Blind Spots and they invited him on stage during their show to play some harmonica with them. They rocked. So hard. They made everyone’s worries go away. They made the rest of the world disappear. Nothing else mattered to everyone willing to let the music take them over. It’s magic. They’re magic. And ya know what - you are too. If you love something, do it. I can guarantee you we were not put on this planet to achieve goals and acquire things. If you don’t know what you’re here for in this life and you’re bold enough to want to discover it for yourself, follow your bliss, that’s where you’ll find it. I can’t say for certain exactly what Maddy and Brett’s purposes are, only they can, but I do know they’re feeding their souls when they’re doing what they love and expressing themselves and giving us permission to express ourselves. I am so glad these two people love making music and entertaining folks and actually make it their priority. Because they do what they love the world is better AND if and when you do what you love and make that your priority you will make the world better. I know they do and I know I do and I know my Fashion Therapy Clients do too. There is good in the world and it’s inside of you. If you’re a woman and you want help unearthing and discovering your magic let me help shine a spotlight on you, I can see it, it’s my gift. Thank you ten bazillion times Maddy Walsh and The Blind Spots, Brett Beardslee, StoneCat Cafe, all of the beautiful freaks being beautiful and freaky with me last night and especially thank you Scott Signori who was watching over us with such pride at this special moment he crafted for us from the other side.
