This month's fish!! One fantasy, two real. The first one is probably the most mental gymnastics I've had to do to create an ironically very simple looking fish; the sponsor basically said "here is a picture of my shoe that exploded and I fixed it with a zip tie." You can ponder for yourself what the original image looked like, LOL

The second two are a sponge crab and a sheepshead!

Trying to do art everyday and going to focus on doing renders of creatures and fauna for my upcoming DnD game that I'll be GMing!

Takes place in a huge ocean, so I get to design so MANY marine critters <3

Hey @tiredsn0w remember how I mentioned those eel things 3cd6 was growing at their aquaponics compound? Thought I’d have a go at them - I was working on that tale and had to force myself to do something else with my down time so I draw pictures. Note - sometimes you have to stop staring at piece of writing for a while so you can come back to it, hopefully with fresh eyes. This is actually good for the work.

- salmon, flounder, moray eel, a shovel tail and a retractable hidden prop fin for threat displays - migrates over land to reproduce then dies, inadvertently feeding an alien civilization that evolves dependent - on this migration, gee thanks guys.

probably not so much anymore though - they have other technology.

The Waters Inside - so, I became briefly obsessed with caves with past week. It started with learning about the Devil’s Hole pupfish, an extraordinary species which I found some great informative YouTube videos on. Then I moved on to a YouTube documentary on the filming for “Ancient Caves” in Devil’s Hole Cave (different from the Devil’s Hole itself). Then I watched a bunch of videos about caving gone wrong. I think I’ve mostly gotten it out of my system, but I had to make some cave art, so here you go!
