Misc. Backlogged Doodles

(1) More to add to the collection of pets and make them trios.  +2 more mushrooms, +1 mouse to round out the rodents, and +2 cats

The goblins are a hodge-podge of if they’ll be the pet caretakers or for showcasing Fancy Job Garbs as provided by drow couple.  Either way, the goblins’ default job/attire is Farmer.

The most popular pets on Nijezdo, by far, are drakes (domesticalted, small, usually flightless, and "firebreathless" dragons) and lesser griffins (also domesticated, small, and can be flightless), or griffs for short.

While dragons are known to be considered enchanted animals (meaning that they have a chance to become sapient), their drake cousins don't seem to have that capability. Some people suspect it's because Humans and Fae bred it out of them, others suggest that only feral enchanted animals have the capability. Though no studies have been conducted on the validity of those statements.

both drakes and griffs have the ability to either have flight or be flightless, usually depending on the breed. All drakes and griffs have wings, however vestigial they may be.

In my anticipation for colder seasons because summer sucks, what if, Pet fire salamders? They live in the hearth and other heat based devices, moving around the house through special salamander pipes.

Today’s adoptable magic pet:

A chickadee the size of a garden shed. Perfectly able and happy to take a human or two flying. It has the black white and grey pattern common to chickadees, but its eyes are a brilliant, crystalline azure. It eats oak galls, nut shells, and bad puns. It smells like nutmeg and falling snow, and anyone who goes to sleep curled against it’s fluffy belly is guaranteed sweet dreams and a full, restful night.

Thoughts on pet dragons: Start off small but grow into big boys Breath weapons are dangerous and will be used against you when they are babies Dental care is a pain to deal with Feeding can be difficult. It takes a lot of meat once they reach full size Shed skin. just...not a great thing to have lying around with a full size dragon Pointy scale types can be difficult to cuddle They are just so stubborn They are smart enough to learn basic obedience they just refuse to Have you ever tried to potty train a juvenile dragon? Its not fun. They rarely get along with other pets If you don’t have the proper space for them then why even bother. Granted they never stay where you want them to. Your neighbor’s will hate you. And so will every cattle rancher in a ten mile radius Not good city pets On the plus side great protectors Will proper introduction and training they can be great with older kids Never have to worry about making travel plans They blep.
