Hey guys! I’m in the midst of writing magical/fantasy style composition.
Hopefully I’ll be able to use it in a fantasy-themed game down the road.

The Chill
Do you ever feel like something is watching you?
The creeping feeling that someone or something is about to do something. You're not sure what it is or even how it feels. It's just the sudden cold feeling throughout your whole body. The chill that runs up your spine, the one they always talk about in horror stories. Sometimes you can feel it breathing. It feels like a whisper against your neck.
There are moments of silence when all you hear is creaks in the floorboards above you. But no one is home, just you. Your pets are downstairs with you, and the wind is non-existent. You would blame it on the old house, but the house was far from being old.
You even tried to blame it on your paranoid mind, but you knew it wasn't that. It felt too real to be anything else. Or maybe it was lack of sleep, but that was because of the noises, the breathing and the constant feeling of being watched.
You were never really alone. Not really. Maybe you'll become accustomed to whatever this is. That's just you trying to reassure yourself, though. You hoped it was something inviting. Something friendly and calm.
Or maybe it's just the ghost that lives in your house. Sorry, should I have mentioned that in the beginning?
This was a piece I wrote based off of the classic and gruesome Snow White fairy tale. I twisted the story and made Snow White, the hidden villain. Mirror, Mirror on the wall. Has my fairness gone to my head? "Have I lost all my brains, for beauty?" They say. Would I know right from wrong if it weren't for these seven dwarfs who've kept me from losing my own head? After being hunted for my liver and lungs, I've become accustomed to being chased after and sought out after for incredibly curious things. Everyone believes I'm some naive girl, who can't catch a break, but what if I'm the one luring the Queen to her death? After her quest to sell me new laces for my corset, I almost laughed her off. I allowed her to find her way of tightening them, but knew one of those men would find me, and help me out, for they all were really doting on me. Adapting to my new life of boredom in these dwarfs' home, the queen came back once again. Tick tock, goes the clock. Here she comes with a comb. Poison? Oh, really? Once again those dwarfs found me, but the Queen didn't stop there. She came back with the reddest and ripe apple. I couldn't stop myself, I ate that apple down to the core, the core finding itself somehow lodged in my own throat. But I finally got my beauty sleep, waking up to a very handsome prince, who came and saved me. I even found they had made me a beautiful glass coffin, perhaps the Queen was jealous of that as well? My wedding day, finally came and what better way to show her how truly fair I am, but by making her want to come to my wedding. For I had red burning hot shoes, waiting for her, red as the apple she gave to me as her last trick. Watching her dance, I turned to her mirror, "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" Answering in its normal tone, "Why you Snow White, are the fairest of them all."
Lady of the woods
It's the eyes that catch your own. The piercing dark green eyes, that feel as though you're staring into a deep endless forest. A never-ending mystery, that holds many secrets. You suddenly feel a chill in the air, the leaves start to change color right before your eyes. Falling off the branches, around the both of you, you find each other much closer than you originally were.
You feel an invisible pull towards one another, not understanding when you've never met him before. The leaves begin to swirl around the both of you, but you're too distracted to notice. Your hair begins to blow around the two of you and it's when you both lean in for a kiss, you hear a loud cough, followed by the leaves falling all around you.
Looking behind you, you see no one there but as you look back to the stranger, neither is he. The leaves are silent and unmoving, crunching under your feet, as you begin to walk among the trees.
