Zombie apocalypse but instead of a boring modern setting, we get a fun fantasy world that gets turned on its head because of zombies. Why are there zombies? Who knows? An evil wizard decides they have had enough and curses the world? Sure. Someone opens a jar they should not have? That makes perfect sense. Just go wild and you can have fun worldbuilding instead of just slapping them in modern times.
