The Braves, formerly owned by Ted Turner, seem to be at a crossroads this season. Rumors have run rampant in recent weeks that the Georgia based franchise could soon fold. The Braves, a mainstay on Turner's TBS, have consistently fallen behind in the television ratings war with the Yankees. The trade of Flair for minor leaguers Marc Mero and Marcus Bagwell has many pundits saying the end is near for the once proud Braves franchise.
