Goose!reader x 141 farm animals
(another something that the one anon suggested. Once again tags ain't working yet. And everyone is a hybrid. Towards the end is mainly Kyle x reader.
Farmer! Nikolai who brought Goose!reader to his farm a little over a week ago. Oh how pretty you are, could put a swan to shame. That was his first impression of you.. and it was also the impression the boys had of you too.
You're in your nest. Actually no scratch that. You're loafing on top of the grumpy barn cat!Simon. He lets out low growls but in the way that his tail sways and how he doesn't move, Simon doesn't mind. He just gotta keep this mask on yk. Simon wouldn't downright say that he enjoys you loafing on him like you would a chick.
"stop tha'" he grumbled out, getting nipped by you gently. You're just grooming the grumpy kitty!
You let out a lil honk, shifting a bit on the cat.
The next victim was bull Centaur! Price. A big brick wall is what he is. You can locate him in the field, every now and then his cowbell ringing when he moves. Standing there with a stern look on his face with his arms crossed. Price being the older bull, he's in charge of the field. Making sure no one gets out of line yk.
But boy, prices face softens when he looks down at you. Grunting a tiny bit when you suddenly hold up a handful of grass/hay.
It's bad if he politely refuses. You know how some grandmas will be like " have some more!" And you politely refuse? Then they would give you this stern look and give you more anyways. Yeah that's you.
You fed him extra treats so much that he's getting a lil layer of fat on him. Which to be honest, it's a good thing but still. He gotta look scary!
Oh boy let's not get started on Soay sheep!Johnny. The sheep hasn't fully grown back his fleece for the winter, so to you. He must be cold! Oh that makes your goose heart sad! Johnny will get sick if he's not warm!
So it's not uncommon to see Johnny sprinting away bleeting frantically with the fluff ball of a goose flapping her wings, honking frantically while holding a blanket.
"you need warmth Johnny!" You honked out.
"nah! 'Am perfectly warm!" He called back.
This is hilarious to Nikolai, especially since half the time this happens is when he's in the farm house looking out the kitchen window. Thankfully he comes to Johnny's aid, running after you and picking you up so gently. You let out more honks as the Russian brings you inside for you to calm down.
"Little Gus'" Nikolai chuckled as he sat you down, watching you huff and cling onto the blanket. The farmer explained how although Johnny may look cold, he's plenty warm.
Which okay.. makes sense to you. But still! Your instincts are telling you to love and nurture.
So you settled for wrapping the blanket around Nikolai and gently sitting on him. Maybe to warm him? God knows but he lets you do it if it meant not chasing the poor sheep.
Of course with this going on for another two weeks. Nikolai decided to get you a bird friend. That's when Swan!Kyle came to play.
Nikolai allowed Kyle to meet the others over the next few days before you. Probably not wanting there to be any bad or overwhelming feelings since y'all are both birds.
But boy when Kyle first saw you, his feathers poofed up. He found himself fixing himself up as he approached.
Yeah from there y'all got along very well, Pretty sure you two are mates now.
With that the boys thought your motherly instincts would go down, it did not
You still chase after them, try to feed them or warm them up. Sometimes Kyle would try to help you by either running after them with you or just telling them
"she ain't gonna stop, just let her do it mate!"
Yeah. They slowly give up.
When eggs come, it's Kyle hissing at anyone near the nest. But you are trying to push the boys closer to said nest so you can also warm them up!
Shits weird. But hey, they like their goose.
