Because Saejun’s Gaster Blasters are cows, Farmtale is often said to be a neutral AU in the whole negative vs positive war, and Cross has a huge fear of cows—I like to think that Nightmare initially sent Cross to create a deal for supplies for protection/freedom or something of the sort but Cross immediately turned around and went back shaking and sweating because Saejun was using his blasters to till the field and all Cross saw were cows and was immediately horrified of Saejun.
