Realized that my "Arthur's hair and nails(claw like) grow faster than they should" headcanon also applies to my Faroeverse au. Except I imagine that Arthur and Faroe would take very different approaches to these problems.

In Malevolent, barely anybody knows about John so Arthur tries to keep these non-human quirks a secret. He also hates how non-human these attributes are ESPECIALLY after spending so long fighting to preserve his humanity while being chased by the horrors. After everything he's gone through, he just wants to get back to a (some what) normal life. And that includes looking normal.

He constantly clips his nails and he keeps his hair longer and in a bun because its harder for people to tell how fast its growing. Hiding his hair growth also helps because HE CANT SEE. John has to cut his hair. And, while John is getting better, the longer they can wait between hair cuts, the better (they usually trim his hair every week/week and a half depending on their circumstances/energy levels).

Plus, John enjoys making sure Arthur takes care of his appearance. Arthur certainly wouldn't if he didn’t have John and Faroe keeping him in check.

On the other hand, Faroeverse Faroe honestly couldn't care less about her appearance. Daniel and Noel know about Jane already. And honestly, (with everything she's experienced + the KiY still chasing her and Jane) any worries about beauty standards was thrown out the window a LONG time ago.

I imagine that she has short, messy hair because (unlike Arthur) she's gotten into the habit of just cutting most of it off with no regard of how good it looks. She isn't gonna put alot of work into a haircut thats gonna get cut again in 2 days. She also has her eyesight so Jane doesn't have to cut her hair for her. As for her nails, women have long nails all the time plus she's always wearing gloves so she doesn't trim her nails often.

Faroeverse Lillith concept!

I’m not ennntiiiirely sure if I’ll go with this, but I want my Faroeverse to be able to happen along side canon (Soo Kaynes not really an option for the main villain)

and I think Lillith works here in this regard. Obviously the stakes will probably be lower, and I haven’t fully figured out her motives yet. All I know is she is also angry at kayne for murdering her father, but I’ve not got much more then that
