"You are all wasting my air..."
"It is truly unjust to confine me to my cell during the only interesting happening at this imbecilic tower, as if I would ever ally with a Midgardian!"

Henrietta had morals that could pretty much be summed up in one phrase, "Just be nice people!" which she would state with that captivating smile that seemed to stretch beyond her own cheeks. But now she felt like screaming in the faces of all her class mates and even a few of her teachers. They're were spies walking among this crowd of special people. Henrietta knew, of course, that their were special, gifted people with bad intentions- with evil desires even!- but she had not yet met a villain in real life.
It was this lack of worldly, first-hand experience that made Henri especially on edge. She had no idea the bad people and good people looked pretty much the same in real life. Images of dark, ugly scars across particularly dirty and distorted faces was what came to her when thinking of... evil. Not students. Not her fellow classmates. Not her friends. But now she was faced with an inevitable truth: some one she knew was lying to her about who they were.
The thought made her stomach twist, but it didn't completely collapse on itself until she realized an even more depressing truth: what if her friends suspected her? She knew she was innocent of course but that damned "what if" would not flee her mind. It scurried back and forth in the back of her mind as she walked down the hallway, middle of the night, in search of a snack to calm her nausea.
Saltine crackers from the school's kitchen was all she needed. But she felt as if she was being watched by haughty eyes. She spun on her heel and said, "Who's there?" in her most demanding whisper.
She was hanging upside-down from her lofted bed with her music blasting as she leafed through the latest issue of Entrepreneur Magazine. They had released there pick for for the top 100 up-and-coming companies, and she was making silent bets on which ones would actually take off. She was pretty good at predicting this kind of stuff.
A soft tap at the door brought her attention away from the magazine for a moment. She waited: it had been so soft she wasn't sure if she'd imagined it or not. But then it happened again: a barely-audible tap tap.
"It opens." She replied, turning the page.
Elise sighed as she finished the last of her Algebra problems, checking her watch. "Sheesh, its gotten late." she mumbled to herself as she cracked open the assigned reading for English. "I hope I can get this all done in time..."
"How I got stuck cleanin' up t'is mess from teh Weapons Trainin' class is a mystery to me." Remy sighed heavily, "It is a bit calm t'is way, t'ough."
Henri preferred lunch to any other time in the cafeteria, it was always packed with students all buzzing and talking about a million different things. The chaos was somehow calming to her, she always left lunch period feeling refreshed and satisfied, and it certainly wasn't due to the food they served. But during dinner, all the students seemed to suddenly sprout social lives and have reservations in fancy restaurants all over New York. Henri sat in a sleepy cafeteria, hoping one of the few passersby would want to join her. "Oh," she said to someone's back, "Hey, hi! Sorry. Aren't you in one of my morning classes?"
She had manged to sneak up to the sixteenth floor. She wasn't sure if she was allowed there, but either way, she didn't feel like speaking to anyone at the moment. The view from up here was incredible, and the familiar buzz of adrenalin was filling her head. She wondered if she could find a way to the roof, maybe work on some of her old routines up there. Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. She tensed and turned to see who had found her...
