Jamie frowned with annoyance and concern, things in the academy were just going from bad to worse. Fist there was the whole spy-business, and now one of his only friends was considering leaving. He wondered if too many people left, the academy would close and he’d be forced to return ‘home’.
"I think Shield has quite a weird view of justice, where lives only matter if…if many are in danger…I really don’t think that they care much about individuals…" He tried not to look too paranoid and twitchy as his eyes flicked around, checking for any possible cameras trained on them. "You wanna leave?" he asked, not very surprised, but the statement was still painful. "Well…I can’t really stop you, I guess, but maybe things here will get better? I…are you still planning on buying that flat, then?"
"Yeah. I'm not buying the 'Justice' bullshit. This is a scapegoat last-ditch effort and they know that there's no one to stick up for me but me." she muttered, noticing Jamie's paranoia increasing as she spoke. She didn't care. Let them hear: It wasn't her fault and she wasn't going to go down quietly.
"The apartment is still an option. Or I could just try and convince the portal kid to teleport me to a different world or something." she sad, rolling her eyes. "At this point Fury would probably be glad to see me go."
"Oh, yeah!" He quickly turned the heat off and took the saucepan off the stove, "Um…there is a blender here, right?"
"Right here. Hey, I make a pretty good sous-chef don't I?"

"I am incredibly sorry to disappoint, but there are only two cells in this tower," she stated patronizingly, "one for me, and one for my husband, when he finally arrives."
"So we'll be roommates? Even better."
"Seems easy enough to remember." Klara gave a slight smile, following the girl up. Second floor for her room, and bathrooms up a level. She didn’t care much for knowing about the boys dorms - but she didn’t, as of yet, know any of the boys. "Roswald…" She played that over in her mind, then replied, "I prefer Big Bad Wolf as well - though it’s a mouthful. Might just stick with Wolf." She wasn’t sure if she was joking or not.
Klara waited patiently as the door was unlocked and she stepped inside. “Thank you for showing me,” she replied, meaning it. If she hadn’t been guided up, it would have taken her quite a bit longer to find her room - it wouldn’t have been impossible, but this was far more efficient. “Here long enough?” she questioned, then listened again. “Jeez. What the hell has been happening here? False accusations and needless punishment?” Actually, from some stories she’d picked up that could very well be true. “I’m guessing neither you nor Fury have much warmth for one another.”
Elise laughed aloud at the new nickname. "Well, I've never had a nickname before, but that works. Wolf... yeah, that'll do nicely. Make sure to say it extra loud in front of the teachers." Elise laughed once again, tossing the new girl her keys.
She shrugged at Klara's next statement "I'd have though all of the new students would have been warned of the 'dangers' infiltrating Fury Academy. I mean, I'm so much of a menace that its a wonder I haven't been locked up with Loki already." she finished sarcastically. "Fury and I don't see eye-to-eyes on anything right now, considering I'm not one for taking kindly to being a scapegoat."
"You can do the tightrope?" he asked with a stunned smile, "That’s…amazing, it really is."
"I know. So how about those apples? I'm not sure I can wait much longer."
Lara watched the display avidly. A smile of delight started to cross her face. She had no idea that these acrobatics would cause someone to twist and turn in such a fashion. It was incredible.
When Elise finished her routine, she found herself automatically clapping. “That is amazing,” she said, a bit surprised at how breathless her voice sounded. “How does one learn how to do such things?”
Elise smiled and bowed: Once, Twice, Three times. She missed being the center of attention. She smiled at the girl's questions, wondering if she was actually thinking of learning acrobatics.
"It takes a lot of practice, along with a little bit of natural talent. This was the least of what I can do. If I only I had a tightrope..."

Jamie chuckled at her statement and slid her coffee cups across the tables towards her. He’d forgotten that she’d left them in his room last night, and wasn’t even sure if they were hers or the academy’s, but decided to bring them back nevertheless.
"I think Fury’s been itching for something like this…maybe it was getting a bit too boring for him…" He obviously knew that the whole thing wasn’t staged, that really wouldn’t have gotten them far, and the academy would have had to deal with the aftermath of some students wanting to leave and parents questioning the safety of the academy, not that that probably didn’t happen already.
Elise muttered a 'thank you' as she reached for a coffee cup, sliding it this way and that. She was only have listening to him as she traced a finger along the rim of the cup: Should she leave? Was there any actual reason to stay? Was an education really worth the hassle of being accused of spying?
"He's convinced himself that I'm the spy. He's put me on 24-hour monitoring and confiscated all my electronics along with anything else he deemed suspicious. I also have to perform 'community service' with the new students, to prove my loyalty or something..." she hadn't realized she was talking until she saw the look on Jamie's face. She shrugged and focused on the coffee cups. "I wonder if its even worth it for me to stay here. This was not the fresh start I was looking for..."
