I think fat representation is important no matter what. Fat people of all sizes are essential and should be welcomed in every space.

And as such, I wish there was more acceptance and positive portrayal of big fat, superfat, and infinifat people, both in the fat liberation community and in studies, books, shows, movies, etc. Yes, even the "gross," "weird," "ugly," and "unhealthy" ones.

We're common enough to be an epidemic, but not so common we can't see ourselves in superheroes, dancers, even background characters? Come on.

Thank you to all big fat, superfat, and infinifat people. You deserve the best and more.

Hi! Welcome to fat-transmasc-experience, a blog dedicated to uplifting all fat trans men and mascs.

Call me Mitch (ae/aer/aers, not he/him!). I adore fat transmascs with all my heart and I am one myself. This blog focuses on fat transmasculine joy, experiences, culture, and community. Fat people are constantly told to shrink to make others comfortable. Here, you can take up space without guilt or apology.

While my main focus is obviously fat transmasculinity, anyone is welcome to engage and send asks as long as it's on-topic.

No callouts and no harassment of any other users* or myself.** And by anyone, I do mean anyone. Yes, even transandrophobes and fatphobes. Harassment means any targeted attack and/or dehumanization of a user based on things they are unable to control. It’s surprisingly easy to glance over harassment of people you don’t like, so always double check. *Of course, venting about another user’s actions or beliefs is okay, but do not name specific blogs. I do not run any blocklists. **Correcting me on a fuck-up is okay and encouraged, which does not count as harassment.

Given that I’m white, able-bodied, and perisex, etc. I try my best to elevate fat people of color, fat disabled people, and fat intersex people on this blog. The fat liberation movement is meaningless without their involvement.

I’m a fat trans guy! I love fat trans people! But I’m also not really an “authority” on anything but my own experiences and what I’ve read, so sometimes I am not equipped to answer all your questions.

It's so awesome to have a thin partner be so radically accepting of my body and also just fucking actually attracted to a fat bodies. We were out with a friend the other day and she was drinking (I was the DD lol) and she got a little sloshed and while we were walking back to my car she stumbled into my chest and just goes "I love your boobss..." a little slurred, and as a sober person happy to mess with my drunk wife I all cheekily go "aw thanks, anything else you like?" And while I'm supporting her adorable stumbly ass she goes "I love your soft belly, and your ass. You've got a fat ass and thats awesome" and I laughed but like it was sweet and meant a lot.

I like having a partner who is more than just accepting. Before Lily I never thought that I would have a partner who would actually LIKE my belly or have a partner that uses the word fat towards my body in ways that are nuetral or positive. It's so so lovely.
