A fat roll occurs when the take-up spool inside your camera is loose. The roll is not tightly wound and (as the name would suggest) fat! This results in light leaks on the last photos on your film and the markings on the backing paper burning into your images.

As this camera was very cheap and listed on eBay as “untested” I suppose I should not be surprised.

When you see someone fat roll in pvp
