TBH, I like Job having Ad.am Dri.ver’s voice, especially the way he sounded in Girls - sort of deep and untamed, like he’s not fully aware of how deep it is or how loud it can get? IDK. I hope that makes sense.

Oh, gosh. Badly would be one way to describe it. It eats him up on the inside and, to a certain extent, it never stops - like his mind is not fully able to comprehend he’s never going to see the person again, that their last meeting, their last conversation, was truly last. It’s like phantom pains - he could literally forget the person’s gone and think about needing to talk to them or go see them before he’ll realize they’re no longer there. On any given day, he’ll still tell you he has an older brother, despite Gene having been dead for 15 years now. He’ll drink and smoke and fuck himself blind to forget about it; otherwise, it’ll consume him.
