#FBF to a collection of some of my @amcthewalkingdead Carol cosplays from seasons 1-9. Each one of these cosplays had either partial or complete screen accurate items. As I try to work through my complex emotions coming to terms with the original flagship show coming to an end in a few weeks, one of the things I really appreciate is the fact that I’ve been able to make special bonds w/ people because of our mutual love for a show about zombies… Some of my fellow cosplayers have gone on to be people I share some of my deepest, darkest secrets and fears. Some who have moved on to different stages in their lives and no longer do cons/cosplays still remain cherished friends and cheerleaders. Fangirls from tv/movie fandoms develop special bonds - we have a certain level of understanding, respect, and appreciation that eludes me in the curling community. Fellow cosplayers “get” what it means that it took me ~1,000 days to ID & acquire Carol’s season 1 tops & the joy it brought me to be able to gift them to 2 of my Carol sisters, but when it comes to curling, my ability to ID & acquire items after weeks, months, and in certain cases, years, is just weird… Experience in the Bones/Castle fandoms prepared me for TWD & that seasoned expertise has been carried over to curling. Unfortunately, I am yet to find fellow curling fangirls on the same level. . . 🍪🔪👢👢🔫💐🍪🔪👢👢🔫💐 #FatCarol #AsianCarol #CarolPeletier #TWD #TWDCosplay #TWDFamily #TeamCarol #MelissaMcBride #cosplayer #TheWalkingDead #womenofcosplay #ladieswhocosplay #CrossRaceCosplay #cosplayofcolor #curvycosplay #cosplayersofinstagram #plussizecosplay #effyourbeautystandards 🍪🔪👢👢🔫💐🍪🔪👢👢🔫💐 https://www.instagram.com/p/CjcL5eTOmTH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
