So, apparently Freddie managed to prepare an interview for us (I just randomly got there and was like woowwww), it’s on the Collider website.

I enjoyed it. He’s such a good actor, and he understands his character sooo much, that’s why he is able to perform so good. He speaks of creating Fate scenes, Riven’s development, Beatrix’s betrayal and Rivusa, of course.

I wish we can see and hear from him more often.

P.s. seems like him and Elisha decided that it was Musa’s idea to use those bracelets, so he gets them for her, of course.

I just read it (thanks to you anon!!) and what a lovely interview! I feel like he definitely gives some of the best answers out of the cast on his character work. The bit about riven being let down a lot in the past- crying. I’m sad we don’t have all this on video!

Hi!

Just wanted to ask: what do you think about Freddie’s absence during the Fate events? (Well, he has not been seen there, right?) For example, press days. I’m a bit worried.

I would be so interested just to hear Freddie’s point of view on his character’s development, like come on, Riven is one of the most famous figures in these series right now, Rivusa is an actual hit, and we don’t have any new interviews with the actual actor. On the other hand, Jacob’s got only 3 episodes and no character development (is he even coming back to Fate?) and he still is present everywhere and every time there’s any event for Fate.

I really do think Freddie is just not much of a press/social media type guy and since he’s in the main cast but not one of the main girls I guess he has the leeway to get away with not going. And to be fair, they have had a pretty big group present at most things as is. But I agree, I think his perspective would be interesting and it disappoints me that we rarely get to hear from him! I love elisha but she is not one I necessarily always look forward to in interviews because sometimes she says stuff and I’m like “hmm I’ll just ignore that” or “that’s not how I read it”. And on top of that I do think her dating Jacob biases her answers a little so I’m always a little nervous to hear what she says (at least I got this feeling last season).

If it makes you feel better, Freddie was at a con earlier this year and he was also fairly absent from S1 press. Not AS absent maybe because it was virtual but we didn’t see a lot of him. Also, I think Jacob is literally just there because he’s dating Elisha and she’s in the main cast. Danny is also dating Abbey (although they’d probably want him there anyway). I don’t think it’s anything to be worried about.
