Fate au phainaxa headcanons (specifically about Phainons NP)

Also SPOILERS!! ahead

Phainon is definitely a servant with multiple noble phantasms but as of now i can only think of 3 he might have. Classifying and power scaling NPs is a literal nightmare but will try;

First is the sword Chartonus crafted for him, the “Dawnmaker”. Currently there’s not really any mention of it having any special ability (“Imbued it with the power of Dawn” doesn’t really give much information to scale from) but it was crafted by the “grand craftsman”, also it tore through aquila like butter. It’s likely to be classified as anti-unit, a bit on the fence on classifying it as anti-divine (not explicitly stated to be made against divinity specifically).

Next would be the bracelet that Aglaeas divinity is condensed into. Now, this is much harder to classify since I don’t fully grasp the ability she has. In 3.3 the golden threads acted as a safety net. In past versions Aglaea used her golden threads to “sense/see” everything in okhema, although i am unsure if or how Phainon will be able to utilize this or if this particular ability can only be used by Aglaea. These threads are also what causes the World Wound Web in Okhema to function.

Obviously I want to make Phainon OP so let’s say that yes, he can utilize the “sensing/seeing” ability of the bracelet which gives him some type of clairvoyance in addition to the physical net (defensive) ability. Classification: ??? Because genuinely it is so confusing or another anti-unit since anything can be anti unit atp. Almost classified it as conceptual but the bracelet was already a thing and not a concept so,

Last idea i have (hopefully everyone reading this has seen the leaks on his gameplay) is his “heart”(on quotation marks since it has not been outright said that the transformation into his ult form is caused by ripping out his heart but it sure did look like that, so). This NP would be classified as anti-world (if it wasn’t obvious enough), could also likely be considered anti-unit(self).

Anaxa and Phainon had a good long talk about that 3rd NP considering, well, how destructive it is.

Summoning a legend - Fate/Awake Mk.2

It hurt. If pain was regularly put on a scale this would be breaking it. Luckily for the older Taguel women this happened back in her apartment block and only the unlucky handful of recipients of the next door neighbours would bare witness to the moans and groan that this burning sensation would bring.

After convincing said neighbours she was fine, she searched her body for what she thought must've been there. It had to be there right? That was what the book and legends said right?

After a couple seconds of looking she came upon it. The bright red symbol on the back of her right hand. Some intricate design she couldn't describe at the moment, but that didn’t matter. She had it. She finally had it. The way she was going to bring back her family. The holy grail.

With a couple looks at the old books she was able to get the ground layout sorted but all it needed was the final piece. A dragonstone of a legendary manakete. Surely this should help her win.

After all of it was set up she smiled inwardly at herself “This is the time I win...” quietly making this statement known before standing in the middle of the circle with stone in hand begun her chant.

Fate’s Cycle / FateAU MK.2 (OccisaNovae)

On the outskirts of the Ylissean capital stood tall a centuries old mansion, one that had been home to a long and once powerful bloodline. A bloodline that had faded away over generations as their goal had fallen out of reach many times, sealed away from them by others that would see their God remain locked away.

Alone in the basement stood a young man, rose hair matted and sweat beading on his skin as his pale fingers gripped the edge of the desk. It was with much effort he’d arranged everything as instructed, working diligently from the day that damned mark had appeared on the back of his hand.

“Damn...”

It had been a painful game waiting for this moment. Although Morgan had expected it to arise the day before - on his birthday - the day had passed with out event. It wasn’t until tonight he felt it, the horrid burning that crept up his back along the intricate Magic Crest engraved there. A burning that threatened to consume the young magus but assured him that the time for the summoning ritual was now.

Wait until the pain is so unbearable that you can barely maintain consciousness.

That had been his Grandfather’s words, right? Even if he’d been left alone the past five years he could still remember each lesson clearly, how frequently they had been repeated so he could perform his birthright alone if need be.

A pained growl left his throat as he pushed himself back from the table and forced his legs to carry him to the center of the room. As he reached the center of the magic circle he’d prepared he withdrew the old rosary from his pocket, one passed down through the Grimleal leaders for generations, beads said to be made of Grima’s scales and claws. 

Gently he laid the rosary to rest in the center and straightened once more to begin the proper chant.

In moments he would find if his sacrifices had been enough, if the blood mixed with his own was enough to break away the seals of the Servant that carried their family’s bloodline and bring him to Morgan’s side.

“Please work...”

Please, just let this one thing work, so he could face his death with at least the certainty of victory.
