Genshin Impact Headcanons: part one - The Harbingers
Hello! I was up late last night thinking about Genshin, and how none of the characters’ stories are finished yet—even the ends of their story quests say “to be continued”. Because of this, and because I love them so much, I decided to start a series of headcanons. Please enjoy this first part on the Fatui Harbingers! I will be referring to all of them using their “real” names as opposed to code names.
Tartaglia has fainted six times due to overuse of his Foul Legacy form. Pulcinella often ends up being the one to care for him, because none of them trust Dottore.
Dottore has a collection of masks. He still has the one from the comics, as well as 98 others. After all, of the biggest parts of being a Harbinger, besides murder, is presentation.
Tartaglia, Arlecchino, and Rosalyne are all morally against the child experimentation, but they are all too low-ranking (and afraid) to mention it.
The only Harbinger who isn’t at least a little afraid of Columbina is Arlecchino.
Sandrone often makes toys for Teucer and gives them to Tartaglia. They are incredibly intricate yet never break. Teucer loves the mystery toys Ajax brings home, and Sandrone loves the challenge of working with tiny parts.
No one has ever seen Capitano without his mask. They began to think he was one of Sandrone’s puppets until they heard him stub his toe and unleash a string of the worst swears they’d ever heard.
Pantalone is the diplomat of the Harbingers. Besides being good at it, most of the rest of them have no idea how to have a conversation.
Scaramouche rarely speaks to the others, and when he does it’s always with a bitter bite. His only goal is to overthrow the Archons, not to “make friends”, as he puts it.
Pierro tries to organize holiday parties. It usually ends in screaming, food flinging, someone being whacked with Scaramouche’s hat, and occasionally Dottore bringing in a child sacrifice for some reason. Pierro keeps organizing them. They always go this way. He is losing his mind.
