I just can't get over how completely open and not at all defensive Bucky is the entire time Sam is challenging him on his plan for "making amends". He just...listens, and he accepts that Sam is right, even though they're talking about something deeply personal that would understandably trigger some defensiveness and distress for Bucky. But Sam is so matter-of-fact and kind, not shaming Bucky at all and you can just see how much they trust each other.
