After a too-short stay in Murren, we took an early morning gondola to a small train to a bigger train to a regular train to another train to a bus to our hotel in Grindelwald, where we dropped off our stuff and headed to the gondola from Grindelwald to First in order to hike from First to the top of the Faulhorn. the hike down from Faulhorn, thru Busslap, to Grindelwald (1631m) took about five hours. we then got some traditional Swiss food for dinner in Grindelwald before heading back to Interlaken.

the next day, we took the train from Interlaken to Grindelwald and then a cable car up 1118m to First. from there we began our hike! the entire day was filled with “is this real life?!” magical views.. these pictures don’t even begin to do it justice! we had perfect weather and the hike was just spectacular! 2.5 hours and 513m up, we came to the top of Faulhorn
