Took a “me day” the other day and dabbled with some polymer clay since I’ve been wanting to take a crack at making faux boulder opal. So some results and I think I’ve got something going.

Waiting for a sanding tool to come in so I can sand the rest. Hand sanding bites and my shoulder will not be forgiving me any time soon.

After much time thinking about it, I decided that will be selling a couple of my moondrop/comet opals.

They are still in early stages; full price and quantity have not yet been completely set, and construction is a slow, steady process.  More details in the future.

Faux Opal heart necklace

A beautiful heart shaped pendant inspired by the colourful black opal. Made from navy blue crystal resin, its incredibly shiny appearance is achieved thanks to highly reflective mylar flakes, tiny iridescent stars, diamond dust and pure holographic pigment.

I’ve opened up Rouke Creations again after not being able to work on it for a few months while I was out of the country, and I’ve got many cool new products available, including cute crystal resin pieces and make-your-own-slime Kits.
