Jak’s foundations were (and remain) in the Japanese Bōsōzoku counterculture - kamikaze pilots were some of the original riders, and the gangs generally consist of outsiders, youths (who often go on to be recruited into Yakuza), and other working class type people. Women have claimed their own positions in these gangs not just as the partners of the bikers, but as gangsters in their own right. I can’t properly portray their unique bikes and wild designs, but it’s safe to say Jak’s favorite ride is her bike.
