Gaslight is a play that was turned into a movie in 1944 starring Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer. It’s about a husband who tries to make his wife think she’s going insane in order to distract her from his criminal activities. One method he uses is to brighten and dim the gaslights in the house and insinuate that she is imagining it. The play/movie actually gave rise to the term gaslighting which is a form of psychological abuse where an abuser will present false information to the victim with the intent of making them doubt their own memory and perception. In 2019, the film was selected for preservation by the Library Of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant"

Elizabeth Taylor was married 8 times. Her third husband was Mike Todd, and they seemed to be very happily married until Mike’s tragic death in a plane crash just a year after they got married. Elizabeth married Richard Burton twice. The first time was in 1964 and then the second time was in 1975. Taylor and Burton were in the tabloids a lot and were known for their passionate love for each other and their excessively rich lifestyle. The media was obsessed with their relationship and often referred to them as the “Marriage of the century.”

Tears And Laughter: The Joan And Melissa Rivers Story was a docudrama released in 1994. Joan Rivers was an active comedian from 1959 until her death in 2014. Fun fact, Midge Maisel from The Marvelous Mrs Maisel was inspired by Joan Rivers. Her daughter is Melissa Rivers. Melissa is an actress and TV host. Joan was a guest on The Tonight Show starting in 1965. Though she never became a host of the show, she did become the first woman to the host a late night talk show in 1986 when she started The Late Show With Joan Rivers.

Fame is a 1980 musical set in New York and it centers around a bunch of teens in the High School Of Performing Arts. “Fame” is the name of a song in the movie. Some of the lyrics are “I feel it comin' together. People will see me and cry, fame. I'm gonna make it to heaven. Light up the sky like a flame, fame. I'm gonna live forever.” The song even won an Academy Award for “Best Original Song.” Everyone should go listen to it... it’s suuper catchy :)

Camelot is a mythical town. Some say it’s located in England, some say it’s located no where in particular, it could be anywhere. There was even a Broadway play set in Camelot. According to the title song in the musical play.... the climate is always perfect, there’s a legal limit to the snow, July and August aren’t too hot, it doesn’t rain during the day only at night etc. In other words it’s described as this perfect utopia.
