oh shit uh okay. thinking hard here. shapes… oh god there’s a wrong answer okay. give me a second here to get out a list and select whichever shape resonates. hold on.

okay this is a list I found for kindergarteners that enticed me to look at it with its. idk. weird structuring

I quite like the arrow here but that might be because I like massive red arrows pointing at things.

The heart I am a rather big fan of, but I was sorely disappointed when in childhood I found out the human heart was NOT this shape. curse biology for not being aesthetic enough in that regard.

quatrefoil is appealing because I have NEVER heard that term before and it looks like a four leaf clover

“CURVILINEAR TRIANGLE” seems rather pretentious and I don’t think I like it

polygons are polyamorous (interpret this how you wish)

that diamond doesn’t look like a diamond (💎) so I’m disappointed

crescent seems like the aesthetic choice but I’m not picking it because moons are apart of what you see when time passes and I am a hater of that time passing

trapezium. hehe trapeze

parallelogram is just a bad flashback to math class

heptagon, octagons, and pentagons are just hexagons for losers

I always think of the cross ✝️ when imagining a cross so that cross shape took me off guard

ellipse is cool. I again don’t know if I’ve seen that term before

rectangles are long squares. my opinion on them varies

I actually quite like squares, they satisfy my perfectionist qualities

triangles are mid. fuck you

circles piss me off ONLY because they’re hard as hell to draw. in any other context they are fine. I guess.

okay. so I have listed my opinions on every shape in this list, I’d say my favorite is probably the quatrefoil if we’re going for interesting shapes, square if we’re dabbling in my perfectionist qualities, and maybe a heart or an arrow if we’re just playing around. I like that song about shooting people in the heart.

on 3D shapes (not shown here), I’d say my favorite is the little plumbob from the sims. it makes me happy (when it isn’t there bobbing at me as it takes an hour for the game to load)

hopefully this answers your (quiz?) question. and hopefully I didn’t get it wrong!

Personally, my favorite shape is the Stellated Octahedron.

Why? Miracle Musical, it’s stellation plane looks like a Triforce and that it’s other name is STELLA OCTANGULA of all things! Like, im sorry but that is the name of a astrologer witch who works at the top of a snowy peak.

Also it would make a sick pair of earrings.
