we don’t talk about tom riddle x alphard black as a pairing enough. alphard realising he was gay and learning to embrace it and set an example of self acceptance to his nephew sirius. the charles x erik dynamic, where both of them care for each other, but both want different worlds with each other. they’re so powerful.

Meet my favourite pairing

Thanks to @dcbbw​ for the tag. It was a hard choice and I may do another, but I chose Drake and Charlotte from Charlotte’s Choice

 Book: The Royal Romance AU Fanfic Charlotte’s Choice

-> Pairing: Queen Charlotte and her consort Duke Drake Walker

-> Relationship Status: Childhood friends/soul mates/married

-> Their Song(s): Charlotte – Live Wire, Oh Wonder. Drake – Everything I Do, Bryan Adams

-> Ideal Date: Alone in the Royal Maze with a picnic and blanket.

-> A Show They Watch Together: The Crown and the Flame, and Cordonia’s soap show ‘The Apple and the Tree’. Also Fawlty Towers

-> Their Favourite Meal To Share: Pizza (delivered, not from the Royal kitchens) in Drake’s teenage hidey hole, the turret room in the Palace.

-> Favorite Thing About Each Other: 

* physical – Drake loves every inch of Charlotte and has proved it with his lips. He also loves her smile - he know’s it’s just for him. Charlotte loves Drake’s broad chest, just right for snuggling into when she needs reassurance. They fit together in all the right places.

* personality – Charlotte can appear cool and polite, but Drake knows her warm heart and loving nature. She has a big heart, and needs one to fit in not just Drake, but all the citizens of Cordonia. Drake is a reserved and private person, but will always step up to support his Queen, whether as Consort, husband, best friend, lover or soulmate.

-> Who:

* made the first move — Drake kissed her beside the campfire when her father allowed her to camp out in the Palace grounds with her friends. They were watched over by the King’s Guard, but Bastien turned a blind eye at the crucial moment.

* cooks better — Charlotte makes a superb omelette and Drake is master of the barbeque, but they’ve always had the Palace kitchen to fall back on.

* dances better — Charlotte is a graceful and elegant dancer. Drake has improved since his teens, and is competent but not stylish.

* wakes up first — Charlotte always rises first and goes to her office to plan out her day before returning to have breakfast with her husband.

* is funnier — Charlotte appreciates Drake’s dry sense of humour and often has to chastise him for poking fun at members of the court, but she finds it keeps her grounded.

* is more organized — Charlotte has always been neat and tidy – it’s the sign of an ordered mind. Drake loses things on a regular basis, but Charlotte usually knows where to find them.

* is more romantic — Drake can always surprise his queen with small gestures, and Charlotte appreciates it.

* has better taste in music — Charlotte’s tastes are generally more toward Classical music, but she loves to listen to Drake’s selection of power ballads and classic Rock. There’s no ‘better’ about it, just differentces.

* is more likely to scream at the sight of a spider — Charlotte, but only if they are moving toward her at speed. Drake will catch the offending creature without harming it, and take it somewhere safe.

* cries more at movies — Charlotte, naturally. But Drake finds there’s usually something in his eye at the same time.

* is more likely to steal all the covers at night — Drake can be a duvet hog, but Charlotte is often too hot so she generally doesn’t mind.

* was the first to fall in love — Drake fell in love with Charlotte when they were in their teens, though he can’t pin down exactly when.

* said “I love you” first — Drake, but only just.

M*A*S*H 30 Day Challenge- Day 4- Favourite Pairing (Canon or Not)

Wow, this one was really hard guys... LMAO!!! 

Just kidding! I’ve shipped Hawkeye and Trapper ever since I started watching MASH. I was shipping Hawkeye and Trapper before I even knew what shipping was. Why? First of all, YUM! Second of all, it’s all about the chemistry. They are so great onscreen together! There is so much intimacy in the way they play off each other- the little touches, the long looks, the casual leans, the brilliant timing... they are a team through and through and it delights me both as a person who wants that in their own life but also as someone who studied as an actor and can appreciate the energy, the detail and the trust that must exist to perform like that. 

I love them! I love how they prank together and never target each other. I love that it’s always them against the world. I love that they make each other stronger and can lean on each other. I love how comfortable they seem not only in their own skin but in each other’s presence, I love that they have such big hearts and I love that they are always up for a good time. They are equally met and I’m just as happy as they are that they found each other.
