Rina Decker, Walking Shadows
I own one of Faye Kellerman's early(ish) books in English, and it's got a stupid review thing on the cover that starts with "Wife of the more famous Jonathan" and my favorite part of the bachelor thesis prep is going through the indexes of academic/text books about crime novels and seeing usually like one, maybe two mentions of Jonathan Kellerman if any, while Faye usually has a few more (up to half of entire chapters!) or is even the only one of the two mentioned. Take that, you stupid reviewer.
Malibu never lived wealthy, but he sure went out in high style.
Faye Kellerman, from "Discards"
The most slept on detective novels ever are the Peter Decker novels by Faye Kellerman. I’m not a huge reader of fiction, but I could hardly put the first book in the series (The Ritual Bath) down all day, and finished it in one day.
After the Blancs had left his office, Decker felt as if he had taken off a winter jacket in an overheated room: twenty pounds lighter and he could finally take a deep breath.
